Chapter 21 - Sylilya

Harvey was shocked to see her sudden smile and abrupt change of mood.He was so stunned and lost in her as she happily smiled at him.

"Can you do me a favor?" asked Lily, her eyes wide like a puppy's."What?" Harvey managed to say."Please bring back Eclipse Hearth Stew. That was my favorite. I'll let you call me whatever you want," said Lily.

Eclipse Hearth Stew is made of root vegetables, ember-grilled meat, and galaxy grains, seasoned with rare herbs and slow-cooked. It is served in obsidian stone bowls.

Lily had dined in this restaurant a few times. She ordered this stew every time. But the last time she was here, she noticed the stew was no longer on the menu. She wondered why—soon after, she figured out that, for some reason, the restaurant had stopped serving it.She missed the stew so much that it even started to appear in her dreams.

Harvey was surprised by her request. Internally, he was happy to see her enthusiasm for the stew—which he had created."Since you want to bring it back, it will happen. But you can't get it tonight," said Harvey. He watched Lily's face droop.

"Because it requires some ingredients that aren't available right now. But don't forget about the deal—you said I could call you whatever I want," Harvey added gently."Okay, I won't," she said quickly. As long as it would return to the menu, she was happy. She hurriedly gave her order, her mind only on the stew. It had made her feel hungry.

Lily had a special metabolism. She felt hungry every two to three hours.

Soon, Harvey ordered. He also subtly signaled to his men to follow the waiter and observe his every move.

While waiting for their food to arrive, Lily checked her phone to reply to some messages. Harvey was taking a business call a little distance away from the table.

Lily watched the waiter bring their food and arrange the plates. One of the spoons fell near her. She reflexively tried to pick it up at the same time the waiter bent down to retrieve it.

"Do you remember me? Sylilya?" the waiter asked in a very low voice, just loud enough for only the two of them to hear.Lily was shocked to hear that name and instantly lifted her head to look at the waiter's face.

"How do you…"Lily began to ask but stopped mid-sentence as she noticed Harvey hurrying back to her.

"What are you doing?" Harvey asked the waiter coldly, his expression angry."Nothing, sir. Ma'am was just helping me pick up the spoon," said the waiter confidently.

Harvey stared at him, as if he didn't believe him."You can ask Ma'am, sir," the waiter added, turning to Lily."Yes, yes, I was helping him," Lily said quickly.

'How does he know that name? Only people from that place know that name. Who is he?' Lily thought.

"Are you okay?" Harvey asked her."I'm fine," Lily replied quickly."Let's eat," she said, clearly trying to change the subject."Okay," said Harvey.

After they ate, they left for Lily's apartment.Throughout the car ride, Lily remained silent, and Harvey didn't push her. He knew she was lying about the waiter, but he couldn't understand why she was lying—to protect him?

During the ride, Lily was deep in thought. She knew she would find a way to meet that waiter again. She had many questions about that place, and especially about him.

'Maybe he'll tell me more about that place,' Lily thought.

"We've arrived," said Harvey, breaking her thoughts.
