He had jet black hair and grey eyes, he was expensively dressed it was the helmsman of the Hutton family and both Atticus's and Edward's father.
" Mr Hutton ", All the guest greeted him. He nodded then faced Edward once more, " What's the problem " He asked, his tone icy.
" Father, it's Atticus, he brought this wench here today to embarrass me ", Edward then further explained the situation to his father.
" I see, Atticus is this true? ", Edmund Hutton asked him. Atticus just remained silent staring at his father like nobody had spoken. Edmund's eyes twitched ever so slightly, " Did I make a mistake inviting you to this event? "
" I was going to come regardless of your invite ", Atticus finally spoke.
" Oh? and why is that? ", Edmund asked with an amused expression.
" I'm just here to congratulate my incompetent brother and equally incompetent stepmother for successfully sinking my project and using my ideas to make it a big success. Bravo ", Atticus Clapper. Even an idiot could tell he was sarcastic.
" How dare you you bastard ", Lucille, Edmund's wife hollered, her face red with anger. " It's not my fault my son is so efficient neither is it my fault your wench of a mother gave birth to you "
" I might be a bastard as you say but lucky I'm not the incompetent son of the wastrel wife of the unfilial head of this wastrel family ", Atticus replied.

" Atticus Reyes, how dare you come here and insult us ", Edmund finally said.
" Believe me when I say I have better things to do but I decided to deal with the unnecessary things first ", Atticus replied already bored with these idiots.
" I shouldn't have helped your dead mother when she brought you to me, the fact your my son doesn't mean that'll spare you ", Edmund said causing Atticus's gaze on him to sharpen, " I'm going to teach you a lesson you'll never forget and that girl beside you will go to my son to use as he pleases. Get him!! ".
As soon as he said this, ten odd men suddenly appeared and rushed towards Atticus and Layla. Layla who had witnessed the whole thing happen was petrified, she closed her eyes due to fear then Atticus suddenly took hold of her and brought her close to him. She looked up at him, she could see his fierce gaze and murderous intent in his eyes.
" Atticus knew if he was alone he could easily take care of himself but since Layla was with him at the moment, he couldn't be so relaxed. He noticed these men used speed as an advantage as they ran towards him from different angles.
The Huttons knew that Atticus would be finished because they saw him as someone weak and incompetent. Atticus was always bullied by Edward as a child then was sent away from the family at the age of twelve before being brought back at the age of twenty. No one knew where he was during those eight years but on his return continued to act weak so they saw him as someone that they could easily crush.
" Get behind me!! ", he suddenly shouted and Layla reacted quickly, she closed her eyes in fear that she might get hurt. She didn't hear anything for a while and decided to open her eyes but was shocked by what she saw next. Leo stood before Atticus, his hands bloody as the ten men laid motionless on the floor. They're dead!!
The Huttons and their guests were equally stunned by this scene. Who was this man that had protected Atticus.
" How dare you attack master Atticus you good for nothing bastards ", Leo hollered, his voice furious.
" And who are you? ", Edmund asked.
" Ha! You're not worthy to know ", Leo sneered. The old man's eyes filled with fury diverted his gaze to Atticus and pointed at him.
" Now!! "
" Suddenly a gun was fired but hit Layla in the arm instead.
" Shit ", the shooter cursed and tried to reload his gun to get ready for another shot but instead received a bullet to the head. It was Leo who had fired the gun. Edmund was shocked. Not only did the bullet not hit Atticus but his gunman was killed instantly. How did Leo know his hiding spot? Edmund was petrified as Leo walked closer to him, " You dare shoot at master Atticus?! "
" Leo!! ", Atticus said his name causing Leo to halt, " I leave this family's demise in your hand, handle it well ".
Atticus held on to layla who had fainted from the impact of the bullet. Blood continuously flowed from her hand and she needed attention quickly so after giving the order to Leo, he turned towards the door with Layla in his arms.
" Atticus wait!! ", Atticus looked back impatiently. It was the other young lady with blonde hair, Atticus's half sister!
" What is it Lyra ", Atticus asked already losing patience.
" I- I want to go with you ", Lyra said while playing with her fingers.
" Hmm.... Are you sure? ", he asked.
" Yes, I am ", she said almost immediately.
" Lyra, what are you doing? ", Lucille asked in disbelief. This unfilial daughter!
" Dimwit what do you think your doing , you want to leave with Atticus, don't be a fool and quickly go back upstairs ", Edward rebuked her, was she crazy, she had always been quiet but now she's crossing her boundaries
" Silence!! " Edmund suddenly said and faced lyra , " Are you sure you want to leave ? "
" Yes father ", she replied
" Your reason ?", he asked again
" I'd rather not say ", she replied and walked to Atticus side . She had already made her decision and it looked like she wasn't turning back.
" You idiot get back ...."
" Leave her ! ", Edmund interrupted Edward, " Let her go, but just like Atticus you are no longer part of the Huttons and can no longer bear our name . You're now an outcast "
" Thank you father ", Lyra replied with a smile on her face and tears rolling down her eyes ," That's the nicest thing you've done for me ".
Everyone including Edmund was shocked, what did this girl go through to say such a thing . The families then stared at the Huttons who all had dark faces, they were totally humiliated.
" What kind of people are they ? "
" Poor girl , she's even crying "

After Atticus left with Layla and Lyra, people began to curse at the Huttons.

Leo looked at all the men that had mocked him just now , they were ten in number . He could recognize the families they were from so he brought out his phone and made a call .
" Hello , yes I want the Scott family, the Gustin family , the Randall family, .... to be destroyed within an hour ", Leo said then cut the call . These families were shocked, how did he know who they were? But no matter, what he said was an obvious bluff and he couldn't do such a thing.
