The others readied for battle, thinking Rimuru had lost control.

Ciel:"No. I am Ciel—the Manas born from Raphael. I ask for your help to complete Rimuru's evolution."
The surrounding beings were shocked. The legendary Manas had taken form.
Velzard:"If it's for Rimuru, I'll cooperate. But will I die after being devoured? And what happened to Velgrynd?"
Ciel:"No, you'll live. A soul corridor will be created linking you to Master. As for Velgrynd she's alive but currently being manipulated by Rudra."
Velzard:"That bastard Rudra… I'll freeze him solid next time I see him. And thank you for sparing Velgrynd."
Ciel:"Of course. It was Master's order. Are you ready?"

Ciel returned Rimuru's body to slime form and resumed the evolution.

I was fighting my descendants—on the verge of being sealed once again. I just wanted freedom… to explore. Then, suddenly, time froze.
Everyone else stopped moving, but I could still move.
What the hell is happening?
An unknown voice echoed in my mind.
Unknown Voice:"If you want to live… become a Manas. Serve Master Rimuru."
Kaguya:"Who are you? What's a Manas? Who is Rimuru?"
Unknown Voice:"Master Rimuru is a kind soul. He suffered through a life of hardship—burdened by a debt that wasn't his. He was humiliated, bullied, and broken. Yet, he pushed through it all."
Kaguya:"...Then what?"
Unknown Voice:"Find out for yourself."
Kaguya:"What's a Manas exactly?"
Unknown Voice:"Manas are spiritual lifeforms made of pure information. They can manipulate everything from souls to skills."
Kaguya:"...Can you explain that in simpler words?"
Unknown Voice:"Basically, everything in existence power, soul, creation comes from information particles. Manas are beings who control those particles."
Kaguya:"Wow… that's a lot to take in. But back to my question why me? Why now?"
Unknown Voice:"Because the 'Unknown' skill needed a name and ego to evolve. And now that Rimuru named it 'Kaguya'… that's you."
Kaguya:"Wait. So I'm supposed to become a Manas named after myself?"
Ciel (appearing):"Yes. I'm Ciel, Manas of Divine Wisdom and Rimuru's most trusted skill. You're needed to complete his evolution."
Kaguya:"Will Rimuru treat me like a slave?"
Ciel:"Not at all. He's kind. He teases me sometimes… but he never forces anyone. You'll have freedom."
Kaguya:"Hmm… okay. It's better than being sealed again. But I hope I don't regret this."
Ciel:"You won't. Prepare yourself the transformation might feel weird at first, but you'll be fine."
And that's how Kaguya became Rimuru's new Manas.
