Chapter 7 - Vol.01 | Ch 6.1 - Fast & Furious [3]

A/N: The 1st arc I am doing in my "Dimensional Traveler: The Great Lord" is quite tricky. It will take time to write it. So, meanwhile, I am writing this novel. AND Now that I am writing anew, I find that this does not/will not fit that novel. So, I will not consider this one as a part of that novel.

Also, this is a preview chapter. MY exams will end by the end of this month. So, expect the full chapter in September.

Another thing is - I will only continue this story if people are interested. So, drop the power stones to show support. Thanks.

-----------

In a world of floating islands, Arden materialized in it.

The moment Arden's feet touched the uneven surface, a warm rush of air brushed past his face. All around him, islands floated in the vast sky—massive landmasses drifting lazily, their edges crumbling into the abyss below.

He flexed his fingers, rolled his shoulders, and took a step."This sensation…" he murmured. "It feels real."

Closing his eyes, he drew in a slow breath. Beneath the strange weightlessness of the world, he could feel it—his own power, pulsing within."I can still feel it… and I think I can use it."

Before he could test it, a translucent panel blinked into existence before his eyes.

[ Welcome, Player.

As this is your first time, please pay attention.

This world is composed of countless floating islands, each crawling with enemies.

Your HP will constantly decrease, both over time and when struck by enemies. To restore it, defeat foes.

Upon leveling up, you will be presented with five upgrade choices, each granting unique advantages.

When you are eventually defeated, you will receive OC (In-game Currency) based on your performance.

OC can be spent to increase your stats in reality permanently, or to obtain artifacts, knowledge, or rare minerals. Beyond the game, OC can also be earned from tournaments, challenges, and achievements.

Good luck. ]

Arden's lips curved into a faint smile."Interesting."

Then, another element faded into view—a timer, its numbers ticking down toward zero.

He rolled his neck, stretched his limbs, and exhaled slowly."It's time to get serious."
