Chen Dynasty and Zhou Dynasty is one of the major powers of Eastern Continent but they are not the only one because there is also Merchant Union, Alchemist Association and Sunchaser Sect. But all of this powers are only a branch because their headquarters is located in the middle continent where spiritual energy is the most concentrated. All of this major powers are all built on top of dragon veins and they also own a lot of spirit stone mine.
Azure Sky World is a place where might makes right, if you don't have enough strength you won't get any benefit in the world. As cultivation requires endless resources, cultivators have to fight for the limited cultivation resources that is available in the world. The higher a cultivator's realm, the more cultivation resources the cultivator requires which have lead lead to the rule of jungle where the strong prey on the weak, therefore if a cultivator don't have a major power to rely on or the person does not possess incredible luck, cultivation will be a very strenuous even if the person possess supreme grade spirit root. A stronger background means a stronger reliance and that will serve as a deterrence to others.

In Body Refining Stage, a cultivator will need to temper his/her body with natural treasures and medicinal bath in order to make the body evolve from a mortal body to a spirit body which is also called Xuan body that can withstand the intake and burden of spiritual qi. After refining the body the next is Bone Refinement. Cultivators needs to refine the bone by ingesting good quality medicine and absorbing spiritual energy through the dantian and make the bone to become gradually stronger till it become as strong as iron and Jade. The next Step after Bone Refinement is Blood Refinement, in order to withstand the pressure and burden of spiritual qi, the blood and all other organs must also be properly tempered.
After all body refinement, a cultivator needs to start laying foundation which is opening of all acupoints and meridians in the body which will serve as pathways where spiritual energy will be stored in the body. And this stage is called Foundation Establishment Stage.
The next stage is Core Condensation, after filling the meridian with spiritual qi, a core will be formed in the Dantian, which will hold a cultivator's essence energy.
The next stage is Nascent Soul Stage, after rifining the core to perfection, the core will start to crack and the essence energy will turn into a miniature sized soul of the cultivator which can give a cultivator a second chance after the body is destroyed if the soul is still present. And as the cultivators realm grows, the Nascent Soul also becaomes stronger which will give birth to a stronger perception called the spiritual sense.
The next stage is called Soul Condensation. In this stage, the Nascent Soul will turn corporeal and the cultivator will have an heightened spiritual sense which can sense things from far distance. Also the cultivator's soul can come out of the body and walk not to far away from the body.
The next stage is called Yin Yang Stage or Immortal Ascension Stage. This realm is where cultivators will face four yin tribulation and four yang tribulation and the final will be Yin Yang tribulation which will refine all impurities and turn the body into a Saint's body.
The latter stages of Cultivation are Saint Stage, World Stage, Martial King Stage and Paragon Stage. The highest realm is Dao Lord Realm but nobody have ever successfully breakthrough to that stage before, because they all turn into ashes under the lightning tribulation.
