Because favors are the hardest debts to repay under the sky!
Hunter Swayer, Russel Yorke, and Joshua Davies offered him a Monarch Grade Immortal Artifact; if he accepted it, that would be a 'favor debt'.
Even if Hunter Swayer and the others didn't think that way, he still would.
However, the Monarch Grade Immortal Artifact offered by the Sect of Grand Unity, he could accept with peace of mind, at most returning it to the Sect afterwards...
After all, the Sect gave him the Monarch Grade Immortal Artifact because they wanted him to enter the small world left by an Immortal King to search for various treasures.
This is, at most, just a 'transaction' and does not count as a favor debt.
