I lifted an eyebrow, surprise flickering across my face.
"You're being serious?" I locked eyes with Stella Lucas.
If the Michelle Sect truly wanted to offer a ten-thousand-year-old herb, this would create quite the predicament.
Stella Lucas shook her head. "I don't have the herb with me, but Mr. Madron sent a message for you."
"What message?" My frown deepened.
Stella Lucas went on, "The message concerns that ten-thousand-year-old herb. In one month's time, such a medicinal plant will surface."
She pulled out her phone as she spoke.
Her phone's map showed a marked spot.
The location sat in Pyro's southwest region, close to the border.
I studied the spot. "The herb's going to show up there?"
Stella Lucas gave a nod. "That's right. The information hasn't spread much—not many folks know about it yet."
I let out a cold laugh. "Few people know right now because the herb hasn't appeared yet. Who can say how many are already plotting behind the scenes."
