Exhausted from the past couple of days, I fell into a deep sleep quickly, my mind drifting into dreams almost immediately.
Shortly after I drifted off, Soren Sean's car pulled up outside the hotel and parked near the entrance.
"Mr. Sean, Miss Sean is staying here," Roberts Joshua said with a respectful bow.
Soren Sean acknowledged him with a nod. "Take me upstairs."
"Yes, Mr. Sean." Roberts hurriedly led the way, guiding Soren directly to Mabel's room.
Mabel had been awake for some time, having barely slept the previous night.
"Mabel, it's time to go back," Soren said calmly.
Mabel nodded in response. "I know."
"Let's go then," Soren said, his voice heavy with finality.
Biting her lip, Mabel rose and walked to my room, wanting to say goodbye before leaving.
I was sleeping soundly, and Mabel couldn't bring herself to wake me.
The group stood around my bed silently for a while.
"Let's go," Mabel murmured quietly.
"Aren't you going to say goodbye to him?" Soren asked.
