Soren Sean and his two bodyguards suddenly emerged at the doorway.
The door had been deliberately kept open, as though intentionally awaiting his arrival.
This caused Soren Sean to feel somewhat taken aback.
I quickly got to my feet, stepped forward and said, "Nice to see you, Uncle Sean."
Soren Sean paid no attention to me and walked directly to settle onto the sofa. One of his bodyguards immediately lit a cigar for him.
Facing such a formidable figure, it was impossible not to feel anxious, but I did my best to stay composed.
Soren Sean drew on his cigar before speaking with indifference, "You were expecting me, weren't you?"
"No, I wasn't expecting you," I shook my head.
"I just happened to spot you through the window."
Soren Sean let out a laugh. He slowly rose, approached me, and asked directly, "What gives you the idea that you're suitable for my daughter?"
I was taken aback.
This question was truly challenging for me to answer.
