I looked at Jasper Thompson for a moment before finally taking a seat.
I was actually pretty curious about what Carter Hill would say.
"Mason, I didn't expect you to grow so fast," Jasper Thompson said, his tone polite.
Carter Hill also sighed. "These days, young people really amaze us."
I glanced at Carter Hill and said, "If you've got something to say, just spit it out. I'm pretty busy, and I've got stuff to handle later."
Jasper Thompson's brow creased slightly, clearly annoyed with my attitude.
But given how things stood, he couldn't say much and turned to Carter Hill instead.
Carter Hill cleared his throat and said, "Mason, from start to finish, our Hill family didn't do anything wrong here."
"You busted my son's arm, but I didn't take any harsh steps. So, when you think about it, seems like we don't have any bad blood that can't be fixed, right?" Carter Hill said with a grin.
