He had never expected Jack Schultz to actually admit it so openly, not even leaving him a shred of dignity!
"Jack Schultz, you've gone too far!" Carter Hill gritted his teeth.
"I don't believe it, if we're not with Chuzzle Bank, we can't survive!" Carter Hill shouted, turning to leave.
"Hold on." Jack Schultz stopped Carter Hill right then.
I watched as Carter paused, a flicker of hope crossing his face as he quickly turned around.
To my amusement, Jack Schultz simply pointed to the gift box on the table and said, "You forgot your things."
This enraged Carter even more. He pointed at Jack Schultz and spat, "Just you wait!"
After throwing down those words, Carter stormed out!
I couldn't help but chuckle to myself. This Carter Hill, constantly acting superior with his modest wealth, treating ordinary people like dirt beneath his feet. People like him eventually face consequences.
