Not far away, Jack Schultz looked embarrassed. He didn't want my help, but Mabel's words had completely blocked his path.

The car stopped outside the gate, and neither of us seemed eager to get out.
Mabel suddenly looked at me and asked, "Mason, if one day I return to Capital City, can you take care of yourself?"
Hearing this, I felt confused and quickly asked, "Miss Sean, are you going back to Capital City?"
Mabel shook her head. "Not for the moment, but that day will eventually come."
