When I got back home after a stressful 4 months of dealing with the Federation government I was forced to realize that the apartment I was renting in New York was no longer my own. An alarm went off when I tried to enter and there was a whole fiasco where the police showed up and I had to explain why I was trying to get in only to find out that the Federation had notified my landlord of my new status.
So my landlord eager to get a new tenant and at the same time get in my good books packed up all of my stuff and shipped to my new residence in Aydindril, the current capital of Furia.
After solving that I took a flight to San Diego in first class which was actually kind of fun except for the fact I had to deal with bodyguards sent to watch over me now that I was a foreign dignitary instead of a citizen. At this point the Federation had announced the news of the establishment of a foreign power as well as the identity of it's ruler so I also had to deal with people trying to talk to me, or in the case of some rather attractive women obvious and rather blatant attempts at gold digging.
At least the paparazzi kept themselves in check, thanks to laws passed in the year 2052 paparazzi were no longer allowed to bother people outside of major public events or at scheduled times set up to answer questions from either fans or news networks. If paparazzi or fans, or well anybody attempted to bother celebrities, politicians, streamers, or basically any famous figure outside of these events, then the person who was being bothered would receive no repercussions for any action they took to make them stop.
There have been reports of paparazzi murdered, disabled, and in one rather famous incident a woman in the XXX industry had enough and proceeded to catch and then torture several of the men bothering her by having them castrated and fucked to death by horses.
After reaching Aydindril by way of military transport, I then made my way to my new house, nothing major, just a 6 bedroom, 2 and half bath with 4 car garage, and several amenities covering 800 square meters of space with a second floor decorated in the 19th century Victorian style.
When I got there I made my way to my new office where I loaded into the Net and started checking current events, of which the birth of Furia was the trending topic, before reading up on the history of the Federation since multiple mentions of other historic events got me curious.
2027
China and Russia enter into a mutual defense pact and military alliance marking the formation of the N.A.A. North Asia Alliance, in response countries in Europe on Russia's border form the Accord, an alliance of nations directly threatened by Russia's attempts at expansion by force.
In the Pacific, Japan and Hong Kong are the first to enter into the A.O.I. Alliance of Islands. Nations in the Pacific threatened by China in it's attempts at expansion.
The United States at this time is filled with unrest, both political and domestic. Multiple attempts at consolidating power by those behind the scenes had led to widespread distrust of leadership.
2030
The Phillipines, and most of Indonesia enter into the A.O.I. in response to further Chinese aggression.
Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway take the lead in ongoing skirmishes with Russia due to the Sky Vikings, their combined airforce.
Tensions are rising in the United States, multiple acts of terrorism carried out by citizens dissatisfied with leadership.
2034
Armed forces from the Accord and Russia collide in the Battle of Kiev, Kiev is almost wiped off the map after Russian troops launch a massive cruise missile strike against Accord forces who respond with similar tactics.
2035
China launches an all out offensive against India, the A.O.I. now joined by most of S.E. Asia launches a counter-offensive and the Battle of Gobi takes place, causing tens of thousands of casualties in the first days.
Unrest is rampant in the United States and quietly calls for revolution start gathering steam.
2036
The A.O.I. and the Accord finally form a defense pact and military alliance.
The United States starts seeing incidents of armed insurrection and attempt to enforce military laws. Due to insufficient troops and training as well as dissatisfaction with current leadership, this falls through. Armed conflict ensues.
Early 2037
Armed forces consisting of mercenaries, civilians, and disillusioned troops appear in the European and Asian theaters. Rumors of the Federation start to spread and quickly gather support.
Late 2037
The A.O.I. and Accord have talks with Federation leadership. Exhausted and tired both alliances agree to Federation terms and fall under Federation control.
Early 2038
The Federation enters the United States and uproots the current leadership, exposing all they have done in pursuit of power. Some unrest occurs but is quickly dealt with under Federation laws.
Late 2038
Now controlling most of the planet due to it's supporters from the multiple politicians, civilians, poor, and wealthy elite since it's inception in secret in 2028 and having quietly spread it's message of you get what you work for, no hand-outs, you earn your way daddy and mommy can't pay your way, if you make the effort then you're rewarded, the Federation quickly and efficiently forces the surrender of the N.A.A. by removing most of the political and military leadership permanently.

The Federation announces the dissolution of all current governments and the formation of the Terran Federation.
It follows with addressing several major issues including incarceration, crime, availability of opportunity, reforms in the education and medical fields including the release of the information of the cure for several "incurable" diseases such as H.I.V. Aids, and most types of cancer. The establishment of Federation Army, Airforce, Navy, and Home Guard and the rights, responsibilities and restrictions of military power.
The separation of faith from military and political governance. No longer was your faith held against you, you could worship as you please but all religious institutions not directly involved with the clergy or leadership of the faiths, such as schools, banks, hospitals, or any institution that did not qualify as a church, shrine, mosque, temple, or hermitage was no longer allowed to influence the younger generation. Nunneries and such were still allowed to exist but anything else was not.
In regards to education, food was brought to the level of a good hole in wall dive, education was the burden of the government until graduation from high school, if you did well in class you were recommended to colleges or universities that fit your planned career path. College tuition was driven down to the point that loans were no longer necessary, you could pay so long as you had a part-time job and didn't screw around.
In regards to work, the Federation established the credit currency and made cost of living manageable so long as you worked at least 24 hours a week. Federation minimum wage was set to 14 credits an hour, depending on experience, type of job, and work ethic you could make up to 40 credits an hour.
No longer were C.E.O's allowed to make massive amounts of credits, doctors couldn't make crap tons of money, politicians were not allowed to make lots of money either. The only way to exceed the 40 credit an hour mark was to excel at your job, show up on time, do the work required, not call in without excellent reason, and generally not fuck around. Employer's were required not to make unreasonable demands of hours, work, or anything else of their employees. If any incidents of quid-pro-quo took place, regardless of the offender's gender, they were removed from the work-force, sentenced to 3 years hard labor and placed in the Subsistence living standard areas.
The retail industry also received an overhaul, if you wanted to place an order at an restaurant, before you could do so, you had to register your account with that restaurant, same for any store that you wanted to shop at. If in the course of you ordering something like 200 credits of nuggets and then after they've been cooked and you need to pay but decide that you just want the one drink instead, your account would automatically be fined 5 times the attempt of the cost of your joke.
If you could not afford to pay that fine, then the nearest authorities would be notified and you would be taken to the nearest hard labor camp where you would work off your fine. Upon paying off your fine, you would have your pay docked at your place of employment, your access to entertainment restricted, your phone locked except for 1 hour in the morning, 1 hour in the evening and emergencies.
In other retail, after having registered your account, you were allowed to shop, if for any reason you attempted to harass the employees of that store or decided that something was wrong and absolutely had to speak to manager, but your reasoning that the music made you uncomfortable, the cashier wouldn't accept a tax receipt upon which was clearly stated that it was not a 10% off coupon extra steps were required as a said 10% off coupon or for any reason being a loud, obnoxious customer disregarding everyone around you, you would be fined 10 times the base hourly wage of 2 employees of that store and if you continued to cause problems that fine would rise until your account was wiped, and if you still continued then you would be arrested, taken to the nearest hard labor camp and work hard labor until your fine was paid off and continue hard labor for an additional 5 years.
When any retail store makes it's 30 minutes until closing announcements, you are required to make your way to the register by the time the 15 minute warning is announced, if you attempt to continue shopping past that point, you will be charged 10 credits a minute. If for any reason, you are still shopping after the store has closed, the fine will rise to 100 credits per minute. If you do not immediately leave the store within 10 minutes, regardless of whether or not you have made your purchase, then the authorities wash their hands of the matter and the employees can do whatever they want to you.
Quality of life standards were set as such
Subsistence- Ok quality food for nutrition and several basic snacks set at pre-Federation convenience store prices. You were provided one form of entertainment, a roof over your head and 800 credits a month to purchase food. 800 credits is enough to provide a large amount of food for one person plus several additional luxury items per month.
Living area- Ok quality apartment in good condition worked on as needed.
Transportation allowed- Feet.
Basic- You have a part-time job, aren't really making an effort, but are still a functioning member of society. Therefore after taxes, you will be bringing in roughly 1,100 credits a month and have access to several types of entertainment as well as good quality food and several varieties of snacks and drink at pre-Federation general store prices.
Living areas allowed- Decent quality apartments in excellent condition with any problems taken care of immediately. Rent will not exceed 200 credits a month.
Transportation allowed- Public transportation, bike, 1 Personal vehicle.
Good- You have a part-time job, have a good work ethic and generally show up to work on time doing the work required. Attempting to reach a full-time position and as a fully functioning member of society, you will be bringing in roughly 1500 to 1800 credits a month. Access to most forms of entertainment, paywalls may apply, good quality food and multiple types of good quality snacks and drink, some types limited in number at pre-Federation superstore prices.
Living areas allowed- Good quality apartments in excellent condition problems taken care of immediately rent not exceeding 300 credits a month, decent quality houses in great condition rent not exceeding 400 credits or payments to own not exceeding 500 credits with interest not exceeding 2.5%, payments must be made to resolve problems, charges will not exceed 20 credits an hour.
Transportation allowed- 2 Personal vehicles and all previous modes.
Great- You have either an high paid part-time job making 25 credits an hour or a full time job, making roughly 20 credits an hour and are a fully functioning member of society. Bringing roughly 2500 to 3000 credits a month you have access to excellent quality food, snacks, and beverages at pre-Federation superstore prices or great quality food, snacks and beverages at pre-Federation discount store prices.
Living areas allowed- Great quality apartments in excellent condition with room service - standard, all problems taken care of immediately, rent not exceeding 500 credits a month, good to great quality houses with rent not exceeding 700 credits a month or payments to own not exceeding 900 credits a month with 2.5% interest. Maid service in great quality houses -standard.
Transportation allowed- 3 Personal vehicles or 1 Personal vehicle and a part-time chauffeur -service standard- retail and employer laws apply.
Excellent living standards - You're working a long-standing part-time job with an excellent record of employment making 40 credits an hour while working 25 hours a week. Or you are working a full-time job with an excellent record having moved to upper management making 30 credits an hour and working 40 hours a week.
Therefore you are making between 4 to 5 thousand credits a month after taxes.
You have access to luxury apartments with room service and maid service - standard plus options - Federation service laws apply. Problems are taken care of immediately, service fees apply - fees not exceeding 20 credits an hour, though optional services can be offered, differing prices apply.
Rent ranging from 800 to 1200 credits a month.
Access to excellent and luxury housing for rent, Chauffeur and maid service - standard plus options- Federation laws apply. Rent ranging from 1200 to 1800 credits a month.
Access to excellent and luxury housing to own, chauffeur and maid service - standard plus options. Payments ranging from 1400 to 2000 credits a month with interest not exceeding 2.5%.

Luxury living standards - Welcome to the big leagues, here you've been working a full-time job, have an excellent record, are in upper management making 40 credits an hour, 40 hours a week or you're a streamer in various e-sports, adult entertainment, daily life, crafting, exploration, or work in the entertainment industry.
Luxury apartments in luxury condition available with rent ranging from 2000 to 8000 credits a month, room service and maid service plus plus options available - Federation laws apply.
Problems taken care of immediately, fees not exceeding 20 credits an hour, optional plus plus services available, rates differ on services ordered - Federation laws apply.
