Moon put his head down and said as Astro fell to the ground, "I'm so tired. I feel her sleeping. I now feel what she feels. I now have her power."
He grabs Astro before she completely falls to the ground. He puts her down softly.
Jophiel reads Moon's mana levels and says, "You are stronger. I can't really harm you because I don't know what type of contract you made with her. I don't wish to hurt the princess. Lucy, wake up the dog from her little trance."
Lucy flies over to Tama and says, "Don't you have a mission for your mother. Get to work. You don't want to disappoint her."
Tama springs into action by rushing towards Moon on all fours like a dog.
Moon waves to Hikari and Eclipse. Hikari runs to Moon and hugs him.
Eclipse asks, "So what is the situation? Also, don't you have to deal with that?" He points to Tama.
Moon responds with "I got it."
Both Hikari and Eclipse note how calm Moon is.
Moon gets Hikari off him and forms his hand into a gun. He points it at Tama and says "zap" in a cold expression.
A burst of lightning flies at Tama from Moon's fingertip. It was so fast she couldn't react.
Tama stops, then falls to the ground on her face.
Hikari asks, "What happened?"
Eclipse explains, "He fired out electricity from his finger at her with his ability." He thinks, "He is growing stronger. Can he command his ability in any way he seems fit, or is he being forced to grow? I have to watch him and that god."
Hikari says, "Electricity is your power."
Jophiel smiles with excitement. Jophiel thinks, "To think the contract made him this strong."
Lucy says, "He might be able to just harness his power better now. Either way, I think it is time for me to leave."
Jophiel glows with excitement and says, "The fun is just getting started. Plus, I see a human overflowing with love. I need to see this out."
Lucy replies, "I have everything that I need. I have been cured. I want for nothing more."
Jophiel says, "Humans always lie. That is something I don't love. You may not want for nothing now, but you will want something sooner than later again."
Lucy looks at Jophiel and is speechless.
Jophiel says, "I am not mad. I am not going to stop you from leaving, but as a higher being, I think you should stay and watch. Humor me a little and watch this expression of love play out."
She nods to the angel and watches from the sidelines.
Moon says to Hikari, "Watch this," while smirking.
Moon yawns while saying, "Jophiel, hello."
Moon teleports behind Jophiel.
Jophiel asks, "How are you behind me? Also, now you can fly."
Moon says, "With her, none of this would be possible. She made me strong."
Moon puts his hand on Jophiel's neck. Jophiel's neck starts to burn from Moon's hand.
He says, "How do you like my touch? It burns, doesn't it?"
Moon is shocking Jophiel's skin repeatedly to cause Jophiel's skin to burn.
Jophiel starts crying. The angel says, "Why are you so violent for no reason? All we want to do is offer you humans a chance for a utopia? Why reject happiness? Why reject my love?"
Eclipse thinks, "I don't have the time to think about the changes in Moon. I have to protect Earth, my home, and my family."
He takes a deep breath and says, "What do you mean by give us a chance at utopia?"
Jophiel's tears began to stop flowing and pause.
Jophiel says excitedly, "You would like to hear the Lord's gospel?"
Eclipse says nervously, "Yes, if it tells us your goal."
Jophiel says, "Then can you get him off me. I would like more personal space."
Eclipse says "Moon-"
Moon says, "Fuck off. I don't work for anyone here."
Eclipse looks at Hikari, but her eyes are glued to Moon.
Jophiel says, "This doesn't seem like it would be a favorable talk for me. But I must spread his gospel no matter what.
Eclipse was it. I don't know how this information would favor you much, especially because of your condition."
Eclipse says, "Don't say more than you need to."
Jophiel says, "I work under the goddess of love. Some would call her or know her best as Aphrodite. My lord put her in charge of stopping the demon's influence with the human's mental state. Those with the most horrible conditions are seen by her, and she sends out angels to show them the path to happiness with the power of love. Our job is to bring peace to this earth and cause demons no way to gain more strength if possible."
Moon says, "Your goal is to be the heroes that will help humans and stop the demons."
Jophiel says, "That is right. We will bring in more peace to the lands. All for his will."
Eclipse says, "Not to sound ungrateful in any way, but how are we able to trust your words?"
Jophiel says, "Angels never lie. I want to save every human possible. Look at Lucy, she had cancer, but I saved her. That poor fourteen-year-old went through a lot to continue living. I saved her and turned her into a beacon of hope. She was turned into a being of faith into the great one."
Moon laughs and says, "You turned her into something inhuman. You probably had other ways to cure her, yet you turned her into that. You didn't save her. Also, Tama on the ground. Is she saved? She seems somewhat brain-dead. She might as well be an animal. You didn't save anyone. We don't need you, nor do we need your gods. I know about you fake assholes. I have some of Astro's memories, you piece of shit."
The whole area goes silent. Both Hikari and Eclipse are amazed at how much Moon has changed.
He thinks, "Has Moon gotten smarter, and he knows how the gods treat humans. Not only did he get stronger so fast, but he is improving overall. Why do I feel so inferior to him right now? Is it because he can still grow, but I can't? Is it because I am different? Am I really a failure like he said? Why was I born so imperfect?"
Tears began to flow from Eclipse's eyes.
Hikari thinks, "He is safe and powerful. Will I fit in? How will I be able to be by his side? I care so much about him. He is all I think about, yet I am not the one fit to be by his side."
Umbra says, "Giving up already. What a stupid bitch. Don't give up so soon. You are at the starting line right now. Give it time and effort. Make moves, and he will be yours."
Hikari thinks, "You think so?"
Umbra says, "I know so. Either way, something is wrong here. Look out. I don't trust this shit!"
Tears began to flow from Hikari's eyes.
Hikari says, "Why am I crying?"
She looks at Jophiel, and tears continuously flow from his eyes.
"How could none of you trust me? Salvation is right infront of your faces, and none of you care to take it. Why are humans so blind? They can't understand his mercy, his love. It feels like they are stepping all over his will, his pride. How could they do this?" Jophiel said in shock.
Jophiel mummbles, "If they won't take his love, then they are better left dead. Lord, please show them the way. Be it from your golden throne in heaven with your brothers and sisters. I pray for your lost children. I will send the black sheep to you or hell if you will it!"
Rain falls from the sky.
