Chapter 19 - Chapter 18: Ressurect

I look at him in disbelief. 'used to frame him? I didn't know the duke did that.' But speaking them here might come out with the worst outcome. I asked him, "What do you want to know?" I can say anything to him, but I know he wouldn't believe me if I said, I'm planning on dying just for fate. Even I, the person who follows fate, wouldn't believe that. I looked troubled. I could feel his gaze like sharp needles, but I couldn't get up, to ran away. I want to vanish so bad, like one of those cloak magicians who just lifts the blanket and their gone. I looked at him, waiting for his response. He looked up to me and said, "Don't worry if you don't want to talk about it; I won't ask you." I looked at him aghast. I thought, 'Your ice-cold gaze says otherwise; stop lying, you—' ice cube. "Sir, The blanket and snacks is here." Ulysses appeared and gave Christian stood up and took the blankets.

I look at the two; both of them are just so fine; their face and body just look so good; even if they are right next to each other, their own aura doesn't defuse. Most people would love a man like Christian, 'the mainstreamed ice prince, but his is not my type. I like the other; they have the same build, long hair, a thin waist, and a long neck; his side profile just makes me want to bark. I saw them walk towards me, and I got flustered. The sight of two handsome men approaching me makes me feel like one of those lucky fans whose idols have noticed them. I cleared up my imagination and asked, "What's wrong?" Christian went beside me and covered me with the blanket. I could feel the soft weight. This was useless to me, but I just accepted it because I found it cute. Ulysses looked at me and said, "I haven't forgiven you, but I still trust you. Please don't break our trust that you wouldn't do the same thing again."

I look up to Ulysses. I couldn't explain something, and I also found it unsolvable. The catch is that I'm a puzzle-solving enthusiast. I just responded, "Okay, I won't do them again." I thought, 'If fate is kind, I won't be doing this voluntarily.' I always die at the age of 21, and I can always feel it, like the wind it gushes; the moments that have collected in the past, like watching it inside a train, get recalled even at the slightest glimpse. Then, in the next moment, you would feel it was not enough; you craved for more, but in the end, it was gone. I call them 'fate'. They creep up like vines, and I can't escape them. I look at Ulysses and smile, like I've made up my mind that I'll be okay. Christian hugged me from behind. I felt the tight hug surprise me. He said, "Don't smile at anyone." I've got a big question mark inside my head: 'Is it illegal to smile now?' In my 21 lives, I went to a place where it was illegal to clap and do fun greeting hand gestures; they saw it as part of their beliefs. 'I guess people here love the ice cube ruler so much'.

Ulysses have walked away his work is done, I didn't ask him how he was it's pretty self explanatory when we met, i look at the night sky, we are still in the gazebo in the garden, i thought 'the night is extremely slow.' Christian asked, "Want me to continue the story inside or here?" I told him, "Continue it here; I want to know them now; we might fall asleep when we are inside the bedroom." I looked at him; he didn't get a clue at first, but when he realized he slept while he was talking, we hit the bed. "Forget about that; stop looking at me," he says, embarrassed. I giggled. He covered my eyes with his hands. I could see through his fingers his blushing ears. 'Oh my, that's freaking illegal.' I blushed at what I saw.

We were both silent for one minute, and he broke the silence. "After that, I killed the duke, spread his lies and deceit to the people, spared the wife, and then I lived the life without you until I found various books that were studied by spirits in the past and found in one of their researches the spirit in plants and how they can be used as containers to place the spirit or soul of a person, but I was too late. I tried to find your spirit, but it was wasted, and it vanished. There's a time limit on people's spirits before you can use them again." I look at him, and he then says, "I retired and imparted my knowledge to my adopted son; I don't care if he wanted to be president or not; he can do whatever he wants; then I was waiting to be able to meet you, then I died. And then I woke up again; this time you were just decapitated. I blamed myself because I was too late, and I almost killed myself to test if I could go back in time much more. Then I remembered about the research and started cleaning the people and doing what I did before, but I started with the resurrection of yours in the process of revenge at the same time, and it worked, and then you're here again.

I looked at him again and was going to reply to him, but I couldn't stop him from speaking. He read a book about resurrection, and most importantly, he adopted a child. I didn't bother about the child first; he can pass as a father, and I know how he would take care of a child. The resurrection must have had a payment in the process; you don't just have them for free. I asked him, "You resurrected me in exchange for what?" He got startled. He looked at me like he didn't know what was going on, acting like a clueless person.

His hands always crossed whenever he lied. "I exchanged it for the heart of the demon lord after I killed him." I looked at him with a penetrating gaze, and he just solidified behind me. "Heart of the demon lord?" It could be used as a mode of payment, so I just let them go. I looked behind me and could see that the man behind me was sleepy, his eyes closing bit by bit. I stood up, and he also stood up. "Let's go back and sleep," I told him, and he nodded.
