Shin did not really do anything special. He simply just fought back against anyone who got in his way.
He did need to face some tragedies on the way, like for example, a kind grandpa who had trained him in sword dying becose of some underhanded noble who used poison, but after what he had managed to withstand in his childhood, even though he felt sad about the incidents, they were not bad enough to bring him down.
In this whole process, as soon as he defeated a strong enemy, someone stronger showed up immediately. Very suspiciously, whenever someone strong did showed up, they were just barely strong enough so that Shin could handle them if he went all out with his strength and the connections that he had managed to make.
So, as this same boring process repeated again and again, Shin soon found himself opposing the king of this nation himself.
It turned out that he was someone who blindly loved his male heir who was also the crown prince of the nation.
