Shin had found himself in a room of the Transcender Academy and Chisato was there to take care of him. With her taking action, Shin had not only recovered from his dying state, he had even manage to get a boost in strength just like Shuzu.
But while Shuzu had reached the rank of 10 directly, he was still one step away from it. And the reason for this was not because Shin was lacking anything but because of how his power system actually worked.
For Shin, after reaching the absolute peak of a realm, he would need to undergo a trial before he could actually break through. This had been the case since he had reached the rank of 7.
Now he was ready to take on the trial for rank 10 but before clearing this trial, he would not be able to use any rank 10 ability of his system.
