Anne Sutton said to Nathan Fawcett, "Oh, by the way, Stella Shields came by today."
"What was she doing here?" Hearing Stella Shields's name, Nathan Fawcett was a little surprised.
Anne Sutton said, "She heard from somewhere that you adopted Finn, and she insisted on coming over to see him."
"You let her see him?"
"Yeah." Anne Sutton said, "She wanted to see him, so I let her. After she saw Finn, she seemed pretty devastated."
"She always used to think that Ethan Linden was really into her. We all thought so too."
If it hadn't been for Ethan Linden, Nathan Fawcett wouldn't have been so good to Stella Shields all those years ago.
But it turned out they were all wrong.
Hearing Nathan Fawcett's words, Anne Sutton said, "Well, anyway, she looked pretty upset when she left."
