"Let's wait for Ian to come back," Anne Sutton said. "He didn't get to sit with me today, and now he's been called away again. He must be pretty upset."
He was just a kid, after all. It was only natural for him to want to stick close to his parents.
Master Linden returned today… and Ian couldn't even figure out what to call him at first.
He didn't know what he was supposed to call him.
It was obvious he had no memory of Master Linden.
After all, when Master Linden went abroad, Ian wasn't even three years old. How could he remember all that?
Nathan Fawcett said, "Don't worry about him. Grandfather likes him a lot. He won't do anything to him."
"Mm, but I still want to wait for him to come back."
Anne Sutton sat down to the side.

In the room, Master Linden watched Ian, who was sitting in front of him. Ian sat opposite him, showing off what he had learned recently.
Master Linden asked, "Has your mother taught you anything?"
Ian said, "She has!"
