When they reached the office, Anna Linden sat down. Chloe Chase looked at Anne Sutton and said, "Why did you sneak Ian away yesterday without telling us? You had us searching for so long."
Anne Sutton had left early the day before. She had asked Chloe Chase for leave, but she hadn't mentioned she was taking Ian with her.
The mere thought of it made Anna Linden furious.
