Nathan Fawcett didn't answer her, simply opening the door and walking into the office.
Ian was sitting there, watching TV.
When he saw them return, he said, "Daddy."
Nathan Fawcett glanced at him and asked, "Is the TV show any good?"
"Mhm."
Anne Sutton stood to the side, looking at Nathan Fawcett, not knowing what to say.
Nathan Fawcett ignored her as well. He sat right down and started to work.
That evening, Anne Sutton and Nathan Fawcett returned home. The housekeeper had made dinner, and they were eating.
Before long, the butler came in and said, "Sir, Chairman Grant is here."
"Let him in."
Hearing the name Chairman Grant, Anne Sutton figured she knew why he was there; it was undoubtedly about the company.
She had just managed to put the matter out of her mind after coming home, but hearing Chairman Grant's name made her start worrying all over again.
A moment later, Chairman Grant walked in behind the butler.
