Nathan Fawcett wasn't exactly a good person.
Although Anna Linden had spent the last few years hoping he would become more like Ethan Linden—who, by comparison, was a sensible man with sound values—it often forced Nathan Fawcett to restrain himself.
But deep down, he was still himself.
Still the same man who did whatever he wanted in the Fawcett family.
Anne Sutton's little tricks were, of course, of no consequence to him.
He remarked with a sigh, "You really never miss a chance to make Charles Prescott miserable."
Hearing this, Anne Sutton said, "He started it! He deserves it! I just don't want to see him get his way."
Anne Sutton looked at Nathan Fawcett. Seeing his silence, she asked cautiously, "Do you think I'm going too far?"
After all, deliberately making life difficult for someone you hate was a bit petty.
But she just couldn't help herself!
Hearing her words, Nathan Fawcett glanced at her and said, "Do as you please."
