"I cannot relax when you smile like that," Ling Qingyu said, her body slightly stiffening.
"Qingyu, trust me, okay?" Kate pleaded. "You'll enjoy everything. Your two bodyguards as well. Just relax."
Ling Qingyu sighed and instructed the two guards, "You two—enjoy the feast, but don't drink."
"Don't worry, Boss. Our discipline is unmatched," one of them replied. The other nodded in agreement.
If not for fear of annoying Ling Qingyu, they would have claimed their discipline far surpassed their boss's.
Unaware of her subordinates' silent mockery, Ling Qingyu allowed them to indulge in Kate's hospitality.
After all, it wasn't bad to relax once in a while, right? Besides, with their Amazonian physiques, even a dozen bottles wouldn't be enough to intoxicate them.
