With a flick, Althea let Kevin go. The ice collar disappeared from his neck and he landed softly at Ace's hands.
It was also at this moment that the butlers and maids came in. They bowed at Althea before coming inside the room one by one. They swiftly dragged the man's body and put it in the heavy trolley they pushed inside.
Two butlers moved the trolley out of the room and the maid went to wipe the floor.
Before Althea left, she glanced at Kevin one last time.
"Keep an eye on your pet. If you are not careful, this naughty pet of yours will go to forbidden places and will surely end up dead. Don't blame us if that happens."
Ace nodded and bowed to her. "Thank you for saving me and taking care of my hamster."
She did not say another word and disappeared at the door. After confirming that the others left, Ace did not hesitate to send Lawrence a message.
"Lawrence! I found Kevin. He is with me now."
