"You don't have to beat him this bad." Kevin angrily scolded Lawrence in the chat room.
Ace, despite being injured, scoffed.
"It's fine. He was actually hitting me in places that was almost hit by the white needles."
Kevin was surprised. He was a few steps away from them but he did not notice the white needles. His surprise immediately turned into amazement.
These two were fighting. And they still have the energy to spare in observing their surroundings.
When the healer of the squad team kneeled beside Ace to heal him, Kevin was grabbed by Lawrence. He was forced to get up on his feet.
This certainly did not please him. He hissed at Lawrence's hand grabbing his arm.
But Lawrence did not pay attention to his dissatisfaction. Instead, he gestured Kevin to look in Ash's direction.
The young man is standing right where he was earlier. His expression does not seem lifeless and dull like the other day. However, he stared at them as if he doesn't recognize them.
