Ye Fei casually shut the door behind him and glanced into the room. There, Ming Yuexin was lying half-sprawled on the bed, dressed in a police uniform, staring intently at her phone with a look of deep contemplation. Fortunately, she didn't seem unwell; in fact, she looked quite fine.
Lost in her thoughts, Ming Yuexin was so engrossed that she didn't even notice Ye Fei's entrance. He tiptoed over to her side and suddenly spoke up, "Sis, what are you thinking about?"

Startled by the unexpected voice, Ming Yuexin let out an instinctive gasp. But as soon as she realized it was Ye Fei, the man she had been constantly thinking about, her eyes lit up with sheer delight. She couldn't help but ask excitedly, "Why did you come today?"
"Why not? If you don't want me here, I'll just leave," Ye Fei teased, pretending to turn around and walk away.
But Ming Yuexin wasn't having any of it. She waved her hand dismissively and said, "Go ahead, but remember to close the door behind you."
