Wednesday, 10:30 AM, New York Long Island, in a temporarily borrowed office.
Pushing open the main entrance to the office area, Luo An entered with Mona, somewhat wearily saying:
"Sorry, we're back late."
"Must have been tough."
Michelle immediately stood up to pour coffee for the two of them, while Reesi came out of the conference room next door, and seeing that Luo An and Mona were quite dusty and disheveled, she asked with a hint of confusion:
"What have you two been doing? Fall into a pit?"
"We didn't fall into a pit, but we've dug quite a few."
Mona picked up the coffee on the table, drained it in one gulp, let out a deep breath, and answered:
"After we arrived at the beach yesterday afternoon, an old woman's dog unearthed a human skeleton in the bushes.
Winslow and I were going to have the skeleton taken back for testing, then go to interview the informant's family, but Luo An called for several police dogs to be brought over."
