When Agawa finished speaking. The pope came out of his daze and spoke in flattering tone.
"As expected of the hero to saw every colour of light and even white light which is the rarest of all"
Pope said that with a satisfied smile, he then looked towards Kelly and Sumire studying them for a moment. Kelly felt a bit odd being stared at. After a while Lotario began to start explaining the reason behind it.
"Great Hero!! What I just said are the colours which are frequent, as I said before not many people possess magic aptitudes, only one in a ten thousand are born with an aptitude which is not so rare if you look at whole population Mages are considerable but that doesn't make them any special, what makes a Mage special is if they have a rare magical aptitude or have more than one element"
As, the pope said Mages themselves are not rare it's their aptitude they possess that makes them extraordinary, if a person magical aptitude is one in ten thousand than a person with more than one aptitude is one in one hundred thousand which is a considerable gap, and if you are in possession of three aptitudes you are already just that exceptional.
"And as I said before the colours your companions saw is very rare, they are what you call sub-elements that are derived from the original four natural elements"
Sub-elements, people who possess them are same as people who possess two elements, possessing a sub-element is rare but there are other elements which is nearly impossible to find like blond-yellow, it's the elements of magic that don't follow basic four components which is healing. White blue sub element of water which controls ice, the colour of metal sub-element of earth which helps you control metals and ores and lastly Purple which Kelly saw is a sub-element of fire which grants the power of lightning of all the elements it has the most potential for destruction.
"But that doesn't mean sub-elements are the only special ones, as you know the hero saw colour white which is even rarer than sub-elements it is summoning magic it allows you to make contract with beast and in some cases divine being such as spirits and even dragons, as I said before, the dark element is a bit complicated but by no means it is bad if anything people born with it are special"
Variable magic, the people in this world refer to it like that, if we put it in simpler terms, it's a Pandora's Box. The people who saw dark colour light can have various types of magic: space-time magic, gravitation magic, Barrier magic, shadow magic and curse magic. No one till date is able to find the meaning behind dark colour and its different attributes.
The most dangerous one being curse magic as unlike other two it's not an attack magic but more of a Dark Charm that is used to implicit pain and suffering on an individual, and the only one who can cure a high-level curse is the one who has Healing magic.
