Back in Bleulle, a massive investigation had commenced. Too many things were happening and the entire City was buzzing.
First, a major attack happened in the inner circle. This was a very, very big deal.

Although there were no deaths—not even serious injuries except those continuously pushed and stepped on during the stampede—the prestige of the place was still compromised.
The Inner Circle relied on its safety from all threats to create a certain prestige and premium into it. It became the goal of all noble families, and something commoners would discuss with awe and longing.
A good part of it was due to the Aether Barrier that would be activated if serious exterior threats dawned on them, particularly during wars or major beast mobs. By extension, even if it wasn't activated—and it hadn't been activated for a while now—the pride of living within its scope was still there, and many were willing to kill for it.
