Kichi's POV
Back in my room, I was serving some tea and some Japanese and Filipino snacks to Takeru-senpai, who was still shocked by what we had seen in a drawer in the room of the sophomore student Shinta. I was still shocked too, and as Takeru shakingly took his cup of tea, I commented to him, "Wow, whatever that was in his drawer might be very, very shady…"
"Y-Yeah…" Takeru sipped on his tea.
I took a Filipino cracker and ate half of it, chewing it in my mouth. "Yeah, like first of all, what the flip was that? What are these glowing powders of…whatever he has?"
"I don't know man…" Takeru munched on a Japanese mochi, "…and I had a hunch that it might have something to do with Minoru's demise, too."
At this point, I thought about it, trying to make sense of it.
And then, Minoru's ghostly voice came in, "Ah, yes, that would be the ones that he got from it after he had killed me…"
We got jump-scared a bit and looked at the TV, where the ghost of Minoru, who was standing next to the TV with a concerned look on his face. "These powders are abilities he stole from me and from those who died by his hand. He crushed them into powder, thinking he would get stronger if he consumes them in any way."
That statement scared the hell out of us.
"You…no way…" Takeru commented while being terrified.
"Come on, mate…" I added while shaking my head in a mix of horror and disappointment.
"Yes, it was." Minoru nodded, "and I saw that after my soul had exited my body."
"What is your ability?" Takeru inquired.
"It was called Sounds."
Takeru and I were in awe.
"Wow…"
"Nice…"
"Yes, and I was thinking about him getting that when he consumes it…" Minoru responded grimly and sadly.
Because of that, I stood up and said to Takeru-senpai and Minoru-senpai, "We will stop him from taking more abilities from students!" Takeru stood up and said, "Yes! We'll do anything for you, senpai!"
Minoru was happy to hear that.
And so, on that night, Takeru and I headed over to Haru's home outside of the campus. There, after we met up with Kiba-sensei and his wife, we were now in Haru's room explaining Shinta's dark obsession with 'harvesting' abilities from dead students. Haru, alongside David who was present for a hanging-out time with him, was shocked.
"What am I hearing…?" Haru's left eye was twitching.
"Woah! That's sounds insane man," David commented in awe. "There's just no way it would actually exist!"
Takeru and I decided to show the powders to them by tomorrow afternoon.
[On that day…]
Now the four of us are rummaging in Shinta's drawer, seeing the glowing powders Takeru and I were explaining last night. Haru and David won't believe their eyes.
"What…? Why…?" Haru commented in pure shock.
"That guy…is crazy as heck…" David muttered.
But then, my Foresight sensed Shinta's coming, and before we would even move an inch, a door was opened. "So…" a voice came in, followed by a dark chuckled, "…you had discovered my dark secret, guys…"
When we turned around, it was Shinta himself!
