Rez lost his footing, his body losing balance as he lunged straight toward Linoshi.
Linoshi reacted faster this time; seeing Rez lunging over, her instinct was to dodge.
With an Angel's reaction speed, she could have easily avoided him by shifting her body slightly.
However, after a brief hesitation, Linoshi bit her lower lip and actually didn't move.
She closed her eyes, her eyelashes trembling slightly, as if waiting for something.
"Splat!"
Rez ended up on top of Linoshi, his entire body pressing down on her as their bodies pressed intimately together once again.
Linoshi didn't even make a sound; her face just flushed crimson from her cheeks to her ears, as red as the evening sunset.
"Are... are you okay?" Linoshi instead softly comforted Rez, her blue eyes opening to look at him with concern.
"I'm... I'm fine..." Rez felt a bit embarrassed. He quickly got up and pulled Linoshi up with him.
Her hand was still soft and slender; held in his palm, it felt warm to the touch.
