Chapter 10 - Return (Part 2)

Klint got up in a wobbly manner. "That glove won't defeat me. This time, I'll make sure of it." "Why is he laughing..?" Ron thought. "Ron, move!" Kai said. "What?" Ron asked, confused. Nothing is happening. "What's the issue? "GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!" Kai yelled. He tackled Ron, making both of them tumble to the side. Just in time, in fact, before a cannonball, that was on fire from the speed it flew at, shot right at the spot that they were standing at before. Klints mouth was wide open, like a cannon. His whole body was in the shape of a cannon. His legs were wheels! He quickly morphed back into his human form. "Hey, why do you do this? Why do you want to cause destruction? Can't you help the people? You help us!" Ron said, trying to talk to Klint, but it only worsened the situation.

Klint shot many arrows in the sky at swift speeds. Before the boys knew it, flaming arrows were raining down. Kai covered Ron, since his armor was made of metal. "I've got this, Kai. You protect yourself. I'll talk to this man." "Ok, get yourself killed then." Kai mumbled. "Do you really think that you will benefit from this?!" Ron said, pointing all around them. "I do what I do for myself. Who cares about these insects that walk our Earth?" Ron looked like he got more and more angry as Klint spoke. Yet he kept his calm. "I follow a saying. A saying that not many people believe, a saying that died centuries ago. 'If they're not worthy, what is their worth?' They are all worthless dirt under my feet. I only care about you two because you're full of potential. You two can actually do something, those maggots can only live their meaningless lives." Klint said. "And THIS is how you respond to that? By killing them all?!" Ron said, before launching himself at Klint. They clashed. "All lives should mean something. Insects, plants, animals, people, all life!" Ron said. He grabbed Klints arm and slammed him. When he got up, Ron backflipped and uppercutted him, taking him upwards with Ron as he flew up, his fist still on Klint's chin. Klint kicked off of Ron, made his hair into a propeller, and punched Ron over and over, talking in between punches. "POWER! MAKES! YOU! WORTHY! OF! LIFE!" Klint scolded between punches, before clashing fists with Ron just before he could send Ron soaring to the ground. "That shouldn't be true! Look at yourself! Youre going crazy over people who didn't do anything to you! Why do you hate the innocent, huh?!" Ron started to choke up a little, seeing as though he was fighting who was like a father to him to the death, and he would have no choice but to kill him if he couldn't save him. "You are a great person, but you're saying that you won't show it to anyone but us!? Why don't you try to help other people?!" Ron said, before being pummeled upward to the sky. Ron, with a bloody mouth, continued to try to confront Klint. Klint almost hit Ron straight to the earth, but then he stopped. He had just realized what he's been doing. He just took it in. He had realized that he was about to murder one of the two people in his life who genuinely cared for him. He was about to murder one of the only two family members of his. He was getting angry because Ron was right, but he teared up at the same time with a faint smile on his face. "Klint?" They were soaring to the ground before they even knew it. Ron backflipped and began to fly. He caught Klint and flew the two of them down to the ground.

"So, how did it go?" Kai asked. "I… don't know. He almost killed me up there, but then he just froze. He looked like he saw God or somethin'." "Whatever it was, it's fine." Kai said, in reply. "Let's take him back up that mountain. Surely he's got something up there that can heal people." Later on, they reached Klint's cabin. He got up, and instantly got to his knees to the boys. "I'm so sorry for what I did to y'all back there! I ain't ever gonna do that stuff aga-" Klint rambled, apologetically. "It's fine, man! Don't sweat it. But please try to put what I said into action, if you were even listening." Ron said, cutting off Klint. They all hugged, but right as Kai and Ron hugged Klint, they passed out. The fighters spirit had run out. Klint healed them instantly, but it took them a while to wake back up. Once they did, they had convinced Klint to help them repair the city of all the damage that had been caused when he ruined it and flew into it. After the city was fixed up, they all went out to eat a barbecued feast. At that feast, they talked about what happened to Klint for him to act so out of character. "The only odd thing that happened to me before that was some pink light skinning through a window and directly into my eye one night, as I was getting groceries. I thought someone just had a pink flashlight or something." Ron and Kai looked puzzled, not able to make a connection between the two events. Maybe, somehow, the pink from the light affected Klint? Hypnosis? No one had a solid explanation. At the end of the day, the brothers had went home, as their trainer went to fix up his training ground (training field) and the cabin.
