As morning broke, Hank's voice echoed throughout the school, waking everyone up with the alarming news. "Professor, something bad has happened... Suk is missing!"
Professor X, taken aback, broke out in a cold sweat. Quickly regaining his composure, he began organizing a search for the missing student.
The search party scoured the school grounds. "He's not in the kitchen!"
"Not on the playground either!"
"Nor in the teachers' lounge!"
"He's not in the dormitories!" The chorus of worried voices continued.
"What could have happened? Where could he have gone? Was he kidnapped? Remember, Nick Fury called yesterday. SHIELD has always viewed aliens as potential threats. Maybe they took him," Wolverine speculated, exhaling a cloud of cigar smoke.
"No way!" Hank countered. "With his abilities, how could SHIELD capture him? Besides, I didn't hear any commotion last night."
Perplexed, Professor X suddenly thought of Jean Grey. "Has Jean woken up yet?" he asked.
"I don't think so. I didn't see her earlier," Mystique replied.
"Let's go!" Professor X said, urgency in his voice. He led the group to Jean Grey's room, with the others following closely behind, confused but trusting his judgment.
Knocking on Jean's door, Professor X called out, "Jean, are you there?"
There was no response. Suk and Jean were still deep in their shared consciousness, unaware of the commotion outside.
"Open the door," Professor X instructed.
When they entered, the scene that greeted them left everyone stunned. Suk and Jean Grey were lying in the same bed, holding hands, fast asleep.
The atmosphere grew tense. As a telepath, Professor X knew they were in a deep state of mental communication, but the situation was too awkward to ignore.
Deciding to wake Jean first, he projected his thoughts into her mind. "Jean, wake up. It's time to come back."
Jean slowly awoke, her eyes first meeting Suk's face. Remembering the events of the night, her face flushed red. A cough from behind startled her, and she sat up abruptly.
"Ah... Professor, Mr. Logan, Mr. Hank... you... How did you get here?" Jean stammered, her face a mix of confusion and embarrassment.
The others shared an awkward silence. Although nothing inappropriate seemed to have occurred, the implications were clear and uncomfortable.
Logan, attempting to lighten the mood, quipped, "So, this new alien boy slept with the most beautiful girl in our school on his first night?"
His comment only deepened the awkwardness. Jean, thoroughly embarrassed, scrambled out of bed and fled the room without another word.
The remaining group exchanged glances before focusing on Suk, still lying on the bed.
Professor X, puzzled by Suk's continued unconsciousness, approached and realized that Suk was radiating a powerful energy. "Is this the Phoenix Force?" he thought, astonished. "How could he have absorbed it from Jean?"
Recalling the immense power Jean had exhibited, Professor X understood the significance. The Phoenix Force within Jean had the potential to destroy the world, yet Suk had absorbed it.
"How powerful is this guy?" he wondered.
Turning to the others, Professor X issued instructions. "Hank, find Jean. Logan, stay here and watch over Suk. When he wakes up, bring him to my office. Everyone else, carry on with your duties."
As the group dispersed, Professor X took one last meaningful look at Suk, contemplating the extraordinary power the young man now possessed.
