As Alex's father made his announcement the entire room fell into a shocked hush. This lasted for a minute as all of her brothers digested the information.
The first person to click a colour was her eldest brother, there were buttons beside each seat on the table with different colours that were used for voting. It was completely anonymous.
The sound of the click woke the rest of her brothers up, and they also voted.
The results were tallied up, and on the large screen projector it showed that all of her brothers had clicked green.
"Congratulations I hereby declare that Ms. Alex Rangers has officially become the branch manager of the Great Underground's VR Gaming Guild, please give a round of applause."
The brothers clapped in sync, and smiled. Then a whole bunch of issues came up, and her brothers fought over things, and she also participated. Even though she was young, and it was her first time in a family meeting she was referred to as the Wall Street King after all, and the title certainly held some weight to it.
As such by the end of the meeting she had obtained 500,000 men to start her guild, but she had decided that instead of setting up a guild she would set up a loose organisation of players that worked in the shadows, assassin organisations, information brokers, and black market dealers would all be under her.
As such the underground services would be controlled by Alex, and nobody would know about it. She devised a massive chain of small organisations that were backed by larger organisations that were backed by mega corporations that were under the Great Underground allowing her to effectively control everything from the darkness.
She had also obtained a large number of funds to purchase in game currency with. This would allow her to her men's salaries.
Alex had also devised a massive strategy to bring the fame of her assassin organisations up.
She organised a group of loose assassins known as the Nine Crouching Tigers. They were going to assassinate the guild leaders of various superpowers to establish their reputation, and thus would be a powerful weapon.
However, Alex hadn't forgotten her main purpose in obtaining a large amount of men. That was to conquer the Thunder Mountain. As such she had large groups of her players move off into the Thunder Mountain where they would grind for thunder stones. Even though they were low level, the weakest among her men were elites, and with the amount of men she had there was no need to worry much.
After establishing her organisation her master, Claire came back because Alex had utilised the Dark Street's connection to help her build her underground empire. Claire had been shocked at how many subordinates Alex had, and had asked her if she wanted to ascend to the throne of the Dark Street because her strength had significantly improved, and after a quick spar with Claire, Claire had decided that Alex was ready to become leader.
As such Dark Street became a subordinate organisation under the Great Underground. In fact with Alex's design the only real players of the Great Underground were Alex, her assistant, the Grand Underground Council which comprised of many powerful individuals in the organisation who served as advisers along with a few key individuals the ran the organisation.
The rest of her men were split up to create a large amount of smaller organisations that would gradually become powerful entities.
This was the start of everything.
