Elios and Elizer—they were the only twins in the whole clan. While they were identical, they differed in a lot of things. Elios used his right hand in terms of writing, while Elizer was a left-hander. Their eyes were the ones that gave away who was who; if not for them, people would have a difficult time guessing who was Elios and who was Elizer.
They were celebrating their twelfth birthday when their curses started to show—acrimony and frozen hex. No one in the clan knew about the origin of their curses—how and why they had them. Nobody really knows, just the fact that they should never become too proud and greedy, unless they are ready to succumb to it. While it was tempting to make and hear people call them heroes, none of them has ever dared to use their curses to their advantage.
