A week has already passed but My Lady seems to be down. Maybe because she experienced such dangerous things or maybe because she said she almost died. But even after a week, she still unable to move on and keep losing her focus.
'Something is strange.'
The case about the Magic Tower Master's attack haven't end because even after the Duke use his authority to search for the Magic Tower Master's whereabouts but they still unable to find any clue.
But after watching My Lady strange act for a week, I believe her reason is not related with this case. After all, My Lady is someone who always tries to think of at least a solution for her own trouble while trying her best to act normally to hide her problems.
'Then...did she have something bugging her? But what is it?'
Recently, My Lady often dazes and daydreams, or sometimes she seems to have something she keeps thinking about until she forgets almost everything. It makes me feel more worried because there are a few times when I saw My Lady's face flushed red as if she got a fever.
'Did she get sick? She rarely got sick but it didn't mean she wouldn't sick...now it makes me feel more worried about her condition.'
In Winslow's view, his Lord, Lady Renneshia, is someone who always keeps everything to herself, and she always seems lonely even when she is surrounded by a lot of people. He had wondered for a long time about her reason but when he finally found out about it, he felt useless and powerless because he couldn't do anything.
'Is it related to the future that she saw with her power? If only she had never had such power...maybe she would have a better life...'
Winslow felt sad and powerless the more he thought about the possibility of the problem that his Lord needed to face in the future. Knowing how she knew about the future, but she couldn't say anything about it because she didn't want it to happen.
'If the Goddess able to heard my prayer, I hope 'She' will realize that My Lady had too much burden to her small body. She had experienced too many hardships so please let her meet someone who will be able to help her.' Winslow decided to pray because he didn't know what he had to do to help her.
"Mr. Winslow, why do you keep looking at Ludy? Oh! Could it be it was something similar to what 'Lord Nero' written?!! Ah! I'm sorry for disturbing you...please continue to do whatever you are doing before!" My Lady's friend, Lady Leona asked before she suddenly muttered something and decided to leave with flushed face.
I heard that she is noble daughter and friend of the prince. Indeed her daily conduct, especially her table manners is exactly how the high-rank noble usually acted so I always remind myself. Lady Leona is My Lady only same gender friend around her age. I thought it was a good thing that she had a friend with same age as her but right now I doubt it.
'Still she was such a weird Lady... I remember that she asked me about my relationship with My Lady and she squealing when she heard my answer that I treat My Lady as My Lord. She also often made a crazy expression when she was talking with My Lady...I hope she wouldn't give any bad influence to My Lady.'
In Winslow' view, his Lord three new friends are strange or too unique or maybe someone with quite strong characters. But he never told his Lord about his though because his Lord, Lady Renneshia seems to enjoy her time with them. That also his reason to always treating them politely even when did something absurd.
"I-I'm sorry Mr. Winslow..., please forgive her impolite behaviour. Hahaha, you already know that Leo is such energetic person and she always act like that when she is inspired by something... hahahaha..." One of My Lady friends, Young Master Rainold who seems to be someone from Knight family was forcing himself to try defend his friend strange behaviour.
He was a good person but sadly as My Lady said, he is a muscle brain. He is too naive and too honest as someone who is living in high-rank nobles circle. But Winslow believe that Rainold will be able to separate his private and professional life except when he is talking about martial arts or more precisely swordsmanship.
'He don't have any talent for acting or lying. Did he not realize how strange and flat his fake laughter is. At least he is a good friend because he even tried to hide Lady Leona's strange behaviour, although everyone already knew about it. I should lessen his worries.'
"Don't worry, Sir Rainold. Lady Leona didn't do anything rude and I understand that she is an enthusiastic Lady. Besides, My Lord already told me about his friends." Winslow decided to answer politely because he didn't want to be rude to his Lady's friends.
Sir Rainold seems to realise something and asks. "Did Ludy tell you about us? Could you tell me what he said when he spoke about us? Did he also tell anyone else?"
"My Lord is telling me that he finally had a friend around his age. He only tells his mother, me and Ancelina because he trusts and treats us as family. Are my answers able to help you, Sir Rainold?" Winslow answered with a short answer to hide some truth because he didn't want to cause his Lady's relationship with them to be misunderstood.
"Oh! No, but why do you call him your Lord when he thought of you as his family? Don't you feel sorry because you are treating him with such a cold attitude?! Besides, didn't you tell me that Ludy is a commoner, then why did you call him your Lord?" Rainold feel suspicious because of Winslow's answers.
Winslow smiled as he answered. "Lord Ludger is the person who helped me to become the present me. He might help me because he is a kind person, but for me, it is something that changed my life. Even my siblings might die without his help. At that moment, I already decided to be his loyal follower."
"Wow! It's too bad that you chose to be a chef. With such a personality, you would be better suited to be a knight. You will become a famous or great knight if you train as a knight." Rainold felt respect for Winslow after he heard his answer.
"Thank you for your compliment, but even if I had the talent to be the greatest knight in this world, I would still choose to be in my current life. From the moment I met My Lord, I had decided to make sure that My Lord will never experienced that kind of things again..." Because he feel emotional, Winslow talk about the past and got silent after he realized.
"Did you know Ludy for a long time ago? What kind of past did he had?" Rainold became more interested because he curious about Ludger's past.
"I'm sorry but I don't have any rights to able to tell you about it." Winslow quickly answered.
"We should ask such private questions directly to the related person. Rain, it's not good to dig about other past like that. I'm sorry Mr. Winslow, we did not mean to be rude." The last of My Lady three new friends, Edgar rebuked Rainold with his polite speech.
"Aww, why don't you just watched silently until Mr. Winslow answered it? As one who decided to dedicated my life as Lord Ludger fans, I am absolutely interested about his story. He is the most perfect being in my whole life." The previously run away, Lady Leona, magically appeared and talked with her usual playful tone.
"While I am disappointed because I don't know about what happened with Ludy in the past, but Ed also right to remind me so that I won't make my new friend angry just to satisfy my curiosity. We also have something that we can't tell him too, aren't we?" Rainold reminded Leona.
"We didn't tell him about it because we don't want to get him into danger. But I am different from both of you! At least I will even tell Lord Ludger about my family secret and even weakness if he ever asked about it." Lady Leona proudly announced.
'I don't really know or understand about the relationship between parents and children in noble families so I'm not sure about it. But from my observation, they are noble children that grow with enough love or care from their parents. How could she said something like that about her family? Even My Lady who was treated like that in the past never tried to destroy that family until now... or did she ever thought about it before?' Winslow feel strange as he heard Leona words but when he remembered about his Lady's past, he started to doubt his memory.
Unable to get any answer from his memory, he decided to look at the other two. When he saw their face, he felt a bit relieved because he believed that he also made such dumbfounded expression too.
"...Le-Leo, are you lost your mind? I know you like Ludy but don't you think you will break uncle heart and make him want to die? You know how much he love you..." Rainold rebuked her with expression as if he was sure that Lady Leona will really do what she just said.
"I love him, so what?! Didn't Ed also like him? Didn't you like him more than your mysterious fiance until you stop talking about her for this few weeks?" Suddenly Leona confessed and said something unbelievable while glaring at Edgar as if he wrong her.
"!!!" Winslow speechless as he heard the shocking news.
'This is crazy! Did Lady Leona just said Sir Edgar have feeling to My Lady?! Wait, wait, wait...My Lad is currently hiding her identity as she disguised herself as a boy. Indeed she still looks beautiful but isn't he crazy? Aren't both of them are known as male right now??! Now I'm more worried than before. I only able to pray for My Lady luck in her future relationship.'
