The sleepless town, also known as Kabukicho, is best known for its host clubs, shops, love hotels, bars but what most people seek is its red-light district: Shinjuku ward, PG during the day but once the moon rises, get your kids out.
"Wow-!" Shiro brightly grins, spinning around. "It hasn't changed at all!"
"Focus." You glare as Shiro happily hops around gleefully. "This isn't a day trip."
"We can make it into one." Shiro turned, meeting your stone gaze. "Fine!" Shiro throws his head back, "You know all work and no play makes you a dull—I'll shut the fuck up now." Shiro clears his throat feeling the rage seeping off you. "Where we going?"
"Where else?" You retort, glancing over to him. "Our favorite dealer."
"Yes!" Shiro sings, "I am out of so many things-"
"Not a shopping trip either." Your annoyed tones causes Shiro to groan, this wasn't as fun as he thought it would be.
You and Shiro make your way through the streets until you come up to a worn-down mechanic's garage.
"Everyone's probably passed out from the night by now." Shiro peeks at the time on his wrist.
"Good." You replied, stepping up to the door you kicked it open.
"Come on-!" Shiro throws his hands up. "-I wanted to do that; you always get to!"
You step through crumbled wood looking around the empty space, instantly old oil and cigarette smoke fill your nose, causing you to crinkle your face.
"Ah!" Shiro took a deep breath. "Doesn't that just bring back memories!"
"Only ones I want to burn out of my brain." You mutter, moving from the main floor into the small office, with sharp eyes you scanned the tiny room, but found it empty.
"Maybe there was a party somewhere?" Shiro whispered stepping beside you, "And everyone is passed out over there?"
"When have we ever been that lucky?"
"It could happen."
"Why would it start now?" You wonder, walking behind the counter.
"All I am saying is it could." Shiro replied, "I mean look at you now, you have friends, two dudes fighting to be your father figure-" Shiro helped you throw the carpet back and open the secret door hidden in the floor. "-a popular blond hero who is obsessed with you-"
"Can you shut up?" You wondered, "For like two seconds?"
"Probably not." Shiro shrugged.
"Ugh." You sighed; each wooden step creaked as you two made your way into the basement, where you two walked until you stepped into the underground warehouse where hundreds of stolen goods were being stored until sold on the black market.
"Damn!" Shiro did a spin taking it all in. "It's gotten bigger than when we were last here."
"How haven't the heroes found this place yet?" You knitted your brows, "We gave them this location months ago."
"Mm... because most of them are stupid?"
You shot Shiro a glare.
"You know I'm right—hey-!" Shiro waved, your eyes locked onto the short fat little man in a tight suit, his hair clinging to his head for dear life. "-Kuro!"
The round man quickly dropped the clipboard he had been holding, his stick legs barely got to him to door in the corner when Shiro's steel arm slammed into the side of the wood, inches from the smugglers face, who was quickly losing color in it.
"Hey old friend!" Shiro waved as you two walked over, just then five men jumped out from behind the piles of boxes. All humor drained from Shiro's eyes as metal spikes protruded from his uniform, facing the men.
"Make a move-" Shiro grinned, "-and dinner tonight will be shish kabobs."
"S-Seven-!" Kuro quickly cleared his throat, waving to his men to stand down. "-Five, how nice to see you again-!"
"Cut the shit." Shiro retracted his arm from beside Kuro.
"What do I owe this uninvited visit?" He glared, sweat already coating his skin. "And where are your masks?"
"Kuro-" Shiro wrapped an arm around Kuro who instantly froze, his men tensed. "-we have known each other for a long time, right?"
"Y-Yes!"
"And we have done wonderful deals together, you give us illegal weapons and stuff and we don't turn you in, such a wonderful transaction!"
"What do you want?" Kuro tugged on his jacket, pulling it back over his exposed stomach.
"Where's the kid?" Shiro cut the bullshit.
"Kid?" Kuro frowned, "You-you got it all wrong, I'm not in the trafficking business anymore, you made sure of that-!"
"How horrid of us-" Shiro tightened his grip, "-forcing you to stop selling off human beings as if they were just old socks, horrible!"
"There are no kids here-"
"See, we're not looking for just any old kid-" Shiro waved his free hand. "-and we know you keep your ear to the ground like the little cockroach you are, digging up little bits of dirt on people is like a hobby of yours."
"What do you want Seven?"
"The hero." You step closer.
"Hero?" Kuro chuckled, "There is no hero here-"
"Six foot something-" You shrug, "-blond, red eyes, explosive quirk...not ringing a bell?"
"I-I can't say that it does." Kuro cleared his throat, wiping the sweat from his brow.
"Really?" Shiro hummed, "Because you always hear everything that's going down around this city, so we thought-" Shiro points to you, "-you of all people could help us out and help us find our kid."
"How is your kid six foot-"
"Well, he isn't actually a kid-" Shiro explained, "-he's older than her, but Five here looks at him and the rest of his friends as little baby heroes because well...we have been through some shit, and we can't help it."
"I se-see." Kuro nods, "But-But I can't help you, I-I haven't heard anything about a hero being kidnapped."
"Mhm." Shiro hums, eyes flickering over to you. "Well Kuro I tried to help you." Shiro released the balding man, taking a few steps back.
"Help me?" Kuro frowned, "How are you helping me? You two just being here is putting me at risk, you're not dirty anym—Ah-!" Kuro cried out as your fist collided with his stomach.
"Yeah, I wasn't the one to watch out for." Shiro crossed his arms, keeping an eye on the five men standing off to the side looking at one another, questioning if getting in the middle of this was worth the trouble, Shiro rolled his eyes, you really can't find good help these days.
Kuro dropped to his knees.
"I will make this very simple." You say, squatting next to the smuggler. "The hero that was taken, well he's my boyfriend."
"Bo-Boyfriend!?"
"Yeah-" You nod, "-and you can imagine how that pisses me off, right?"
"Y-Yeah?"
"So-" You begin to spell out. "-if you don't open up and spill like the fat pig you are, I will take my sweet ass time slicing you open-"
"I-I don't know anything I swear-!" Your hand whipped out, gripping his skull, you smashed his face against the pavement, blood dripped from his nose and mouth as he slowly sat up, crying in pain gripping his jaw.
"-you didn't let me finish-" You smile. "-if you don't squeal, I'll cook you up and serve you to your drunk little friends over there, then do the same to them while Shiro here burns this place to the fucking ground."
"I don't know anything I swear-!" Kuro cried, staring at his blood painting his hands. You nod, glancing at Shiro as you run your tongue along your teeth you reach to your leg, pulling out a blade, you flip it open. "-n-no!" Kuro tries to scramble away but Shiro moves, stepping on his hand before the smuggler could get too far.
"It's been a while since you've done this-" Shiro turns to you. "-you sure you remember how to?"
"It's like riding a bike-" You replied, "-you never forget."
"Please-!" Kuro pleaded, blood and spit dripping down his chin. You stood, taking one last glance at Shiro before bending, roughly gripping Kuro's neck as you bring your knife to his tender flesh. "-ok-!" Kuro breaks, "-ok I'll tell you, just please don't!"
Your hardened gaze flickers to the bloated man's face, you press the tip of the blade into his skin, a bead of blood drips down the side as he screams. The goons off to the side finally made up their minds, they tried bolding forward but Shiro was ahead of them, pulling his gun he fired off six shots, dropping them flawlessly.
"Well shit..." Shiro exhaled, the echo from the gun rang in his ears as he scratched his head with the barrel of his gun. "...that was a little too easy, where are you finding your help Kuro?"
"Ok-!" Kuro gurgles from his throat. "-please, I'll tell you everything!"
"Talk!" You snarled, pressing the blade harder against his neck.
"I-I don't know who wanted the boy-!" Kuro coughed; blood spattered across your face you didn't flinch. "-I swear but I-I do know who was asking around about him!"
"Who?" Shiro asked; Kuro stalls, forcing you to apply more pressure. Kuro cries out feeling his warm blood beginning to soak his shirt.
"K-Kit-Kitsune!"
"Kitsune?" Shiro pulled his brows together, knowing the name. "The drug dealer?"
"Y-Yes...now please, stop..." Kuro breathes out in relief as you stand, letting the fat man drop onto his back.
"Why is Kitsune asking around about a U.A. student?" You question.
"I-I don't know." Kuro shakes his head. "I swear, all I know is that he was asking about the explosive quirk."
"Well-" Shiro clapped his hands, "-was that so hard, all you had to do was tell us the truth!"
"I'm a dead man now that I blabbed!"
"You're a dead man with a few more hours to live now." You reply with a careless shrug. "Make the most of them."
You and Shiro turn on your heels, taking your leave. Shiro glanced over his shoulder, making sure Kuro doesn't pull a stupid stunt like last time, trying to pull a gun on the two of you but he seemed to remain defeated in a pool of his own blood.
"Where to this time?" Shiro wonders.
"Your favorite spot."
"The red light district?"
"Yep."
"Yes!" Shiro dances while following you out the warehouse, you roll your eyes as you stepped into the mechanic's garage, through the glass windows the sun had finally woken up.
You pulled your lips into a thin line, wondering where Katsuki was and if he was ok...
