Sheng Shi looked at her smile, felt a sudden dizziness, and the worry that she might be truly angry settled down. He immediately pulled out a chair for Gu Lanshan with a beaming smile and said, "Then sit down quickly."
Gu Lanshan didn't even glance at Sheng Shi, held her chin high, and clutching that thoroughly deserved bouquet of fresh flowers, she walked past Sheng Shi, then sat down with elegance and composure.
After Gu Lanshan had taken her seat, Sheng Shi circled around and stood in front of her, raising his hand, "Chu Chu, give me the flowers. I'll put them aside for now. You eat first."
Gu Lanshan leaned against the glass chair and finally raised her eyes to give Sheng Shi a slow, measured look. Seeing that Gu Lanshan was looking at him, the corners of Sheng Shi's lips gently curled up once more, and he moved his raised hand forward a bit, intending to take the flowers from Gu Lanshan's hands.
