Chapter 353 - Malice

Outskirts of the Universe (One Piece), The Last Wall.

Unlike the previous plain bathed in starlight, the current scenery resembled dark space with glittery stars in the distance. This place was the edge of the universe, a place where the past, present, and future do not exist. It is an amalgamation of the Universe's primal forces that expand the universe and provide the raw energy needed to sustain it.

Floating, or in similar terms standing on nothing, the administrator of the world scratched his head as Adam arrived.

"I didn't expect you to come so soon." The admin threw the half-eaten drumstick in the pocket of space as his hair turned flaming white. "But I did expect such a day."

"So, you aren't down to talk, huh." Adam muttered.

"I can't let the world's autonomy get disrupted, not even I do that. If you try to force my hand, I will destroy the timeline you have connection with even before you can reach me." The admin's tone turned serious.

"You know what will happen after right?" Adam said, hands in his pocket.

"Of course, you'll destroy this universe or kill me, maybe both. And I am fine either way, but not with this." The admin shrugged.

"Nein. What'll happen is that you'll fail to erase that timeline." Adam smiled. "What do you think I was doing there during my past two visits?"

"…Are you saying that I can't erase the shadow you left behind in that world?"

"You are welcome to try." Adam's face and actions had already become part of the world. He had created a ripple that affected the course of the future in that timeline, however the main problem was the lingering traces of his will.

Adam's smile rubbed the Administrator the wrong way, but that wasn't all.

"And I am not here to ask for your permission, I am here to tell you that I will wipe out the World government from that timeline." That was the last straw that broke the camel's back.

"Then I suppose we'll have to fight it out." The administrator cracked his knuckles, a grin plastered on his face. "I have always wondered how strong you were to be her gofer."

"I'll show you a little, I suppose." Adam snapped his fingers and the space around them split open to swallow them.

The next instance they were spat out in a different location, the administrator turned his head and, in every direction, he could see thousands to ten of thousands of colossal stars wrapped in stellar radiance.

'Is that…' He felt a connection with the nearest giant, one that went beyond that of human understanding.

"This must be the first time you've looked at your universe from the outside." Adam said standing some distance away. "Don't worry though, your connection is still maintained."

"You're are funny one indeed." Administrator smirked, showing his canines. "Then, let's get this over with!"

A burst of cosmic radiance left the administrator's body, the shackles that had bound him to his current form came undone one by one. His body started to expand, drawing the power of every star, black hole, planet, and living beings in his universe, condensing all that energy into his body that had surpassed a light-year in length and continued to grow.

The aura around him turned thick like a haze and morphed space around to form a barrier. His body now 90.790 billion light years in height, and 90.790 billion light years in width with his arms stretched wide.

The administrator currently embodied his entire universe, a state that rivaled the size of his universe too. In front of this form, Adam's unchanged body was similar to a speck, no it was like comparing an atom to the planet.

"Ready or not, here I come!" The administrator's voice shook the space itself, his fist balled up and came down on Adam like a meteorite the size of a million galaxies.

That single punch contained the energy of the entire universe, it had the power to destroy the universe if connected making the space crack. But in front of an attack of such a magnitude, Adam didn't move. The punch landed squarely on him, however nothing happened.

'No… what was that?' Before the punch landed, the administrator locked eyes with Adam, and they weren't in the usual brown color.

"You gotta be kidding me…?" The administrator clenched his teeth. In front of him stood a pitch-black wall, it oozed ominous energy that made him pull his fist back on instinct.

However, it wasn't a wall, it moved, or more specifically the part where his fist connected moved. Sliding upwards it folded on itself as he saw the scaly pattern on it, and at last, an eye stared at him. The eye itself was bigger than the administrator, so big that his body could easily fit in the slit of that golden pupil. He didn't even dare to look down at the whole body and shrunk back out of pure, primal fear coded in every living existence.

What stood in front of him, was a concentration of malice that melted space itself. Malice that ran deeper than trivial emotions like anger and rage.

"This is ridiculous." Administrator knew that it wouldn't be an easy fight, but he never thought it would be like this.

A monstrosity unlike any he had heard of, a being that surpassed the realms he understood. This was the true power of his opponent.

'Seriously, what is that Goddess thinking giving him access to all the worlds?' As if he had woken up from a bad dream, the Administrator stood face to face with Adam, hid body hadn't changed but his pupils reminiscent of the same gold as that nightmare.

"…You win, just keep it in that timeline." He sighed.

"I intend to, I won't push you more than necessary. I'll even give you the necessary energy needed to accommodate the change and keep the balance." Adam said, his voice a lot more controlled than before.

"Ok Ok, get out of here. My stomach turns just looking at you." The administrator felt salty, both at the loss and his trembling body.

Without paying him any mind though, Adam arrived back into his shop after a while. As the door opened, Boa, who had been pacing around the room this whole time came to a stop.

"S-So, you are back." She tried to hide it, but Boa was unable to match his golden eyes head-on, just it wasn't out of fear.

'He looks so handsome with them! I didn't think he could get better looking than how good he looked before!' The wild yet refined air those eyes gave Adam pulled her deeper into the abyss of infatuation and love.

"Everything is sorted out, now all we need to do is discuss the payment."
