Chapter 1155 - IUD-Chapter 1150 It Had Encountered the Most Terrifying Enemy

"So..."

Fang Li narrowed his eyes slightly as he looked at Fubuki walking behind Sylvia.

He spoke to Sylvia with obvious displeasure, his tone full of annoyance. "You brought this woman along?"

Sylvia couldn't help but laugh. "Well, I just felt like I couldn't leave this child alone..."

''Child?''

No matter how you looked at it, she was older than you, wasn't she, Your Diva Highness?

At that moment, Fubuki spoke up as well, looking directly at Fang Li. "You're One-Way Rakshasa, right? The hero who only recently joined the Hero Association but was exceptionally promoted straight to S-Class. I know who you are."

"I know," Fang Li replied indifferently. "And I know who you are too, Blizzard of Hell."

Of course Fang Li knew Fubuki.

It wasn't because of how famous she was. In reality, Fubuki's reputation was mostly limited to professional heroes and the Hero Association. Among the general public, while she wasn't exactly unknown as B-Class Rank 1, her spotlight was almost completely overshadowed by her older sister.

The psychic who ranked second in S-Class.

There was probably no one who understood that woman's power better than Fang Li. Even Fubuki herself likely didn't know her sister as well as Fang Li did, thanks to his knowledge of the original story.

Without exaggeration, Fang Li could confidently say that her abilities far surpassed the limits of ordinary phenomena.

As for Fang Li himself, he wasn't particularly worried. With the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception, he practically hard-countered someone who relied entirely on psychic powers.

However, if he didn't use the Mystic Eyes, he couldn't be certain he would defeat her. Even if he used 'Extreme Death - Seven Nights', his hundred-times-the-speed-of-sound killing strike, the result would still be uncertain.

That alone showed just how terrifying her power was.

And Fubuki was that woman's younger sister. In other words, nobody understood the overwhelming nature of her sister's power better than Fubuki herself.

Fang Li knew this well.

In truth, Fubuki had spent her entire life living in her sister's shadow. Her sister had simply been too exceptional. Even as a child, she already possessed psychic abilities stronger than Fubuki's current level.

Precisely because she could never match that overwhelming talent, Fubuki had developed a deep inferiority complex from a young age.

The reason she gathered so many B-Class heroes and formed the Blizzard Group was that she understood that she could never surpass her sister alone. Since quality wasn't enough, she decided to make up for it with quantity.

At the same time, she deliberately remained in B-Class rather than advancing to A-Class in order to surpass her sister in name. After all, being B-Class Rank 1 was the first time in her life she had ever been number one. Meanwhile, her sister was only S-Class Rank 2, not Rank 1.

Even if she couldn't surpass her sister in actual rank, Fubuki wanted to beat her in the rankings. That was why she stubbornly refused promotion.

From this alone, it was easy to see just how obsessed Fubuki was with surpassing her sister.

"So you've latched onto Sylvie now?" Fang Li asked. "You want her to teach you how to become stronger?"

"That's right." Fubuki frowned, clearly unhappy with his choice of words, but she answered honestly anyway. "Even if she can't compare to my sister, Diva-sama's power is the closest thing I've ever seen. Logically speaking, there shouldn't be a second monster like my sister in this world."

A monster. That was how Fubuki described her own older sister. That single word was enough to reveal both how strained their relationship was and just how deeply she understood the terrifying extent of her sister's power.

The comment piqued Sylvia's curiosity. "Is Fubuki's sister really that amazing?"

She wasn't asking Fubuki; she was asking Fang Li.

Fang Li's answer was simple. "If it's you, then as long as you find the right strategy, winning won't be difficult. But if you can't, then you'll probably lose."

In other words, it depended on what kind of songs Sylvia could sing and whether their effects would work against that psychic. If they worked, then with Sylvia's current strength, defeating that woman wouldn't be difficult. If they didn't, then the outcome would be hard to predict.

At the very least, based on Fang Li's understanding, if that woman got serious, using her psychic powers to pull a meteor down from outer space wouldn't be surprising at all.

That was Fang Li's assessment. Fubuki, however, clearly disagreed.

"Diva-sama is indeed very strong," Fubuki said quietly. "Probably second only to my sister. But my sister's power is simply too terrifying. There's absolutely no way she could win."

Needless to say, this evaluation wasn't exactly objective. Having grown up under the constant pressure of her sister's overwhelming talent, Fubuki naturally exaggerated her strength. Besides, how could she be so sure that what Sylvia had just shown was her limit?

This woman's perspective was far too narrow.

Fortunately, she still didn't know that Sweet Mask, the seemingly invincible hero she admired so much, had been instantly killed by Fang Li. The Hero Association had only informed the S-Class heroes about that incident. Otherwise, Fubuki would realize just how badly she was underestimating the couple standing before her.

Just as Fang Li was about to make a sarcastic remark,

"ROOOAAARRR….!"

A deafening roar suddenly echoed from a nearby corner ahead. The shockwave blasted through the area, sending rubble and broken stones flying everywhere.

"This..." Sylvia looked surprised. Hadn't she already killed that Demon Dog?

Meanwhile, Fubuki suddenly seemed to remember something extremely important. "When we found that Mysterious Being, it was lying inside a nest!"

The moment she said it, both Fang Li and Sylvia understood.

"In other words," Sylvia immediately said, "there's probably another Mysterious Being in that nest?"

"Let's go take a look." With that, Sylvia prepared to head over immediately.

But Fang Li stopped her. "No need."

A faint gleam appeared in his eyes as he smiled. "Maybe that Mysterious Being has already run into the most terrifying enemy possible."

As soon as those words fell,

'BOOOOOOM…!'

An earth-shaking, sky-rending explosion erupted.

The terrifying impact shot straight into the heavens. The invisible force blasted apart the cloud layer overhead as though it had been swept away by a giant hand.

And then, the Mysterious Being's roar abruptly stopped.

Sylvia and Fubuki froze. Only Fang Li continued staring in that direction.

"Let's go see."

The moment he finished speaking, Fang Li leaped off the rooftop. Sylvia followed without the slightest hesitation.

"W-Wait!" Only then did Fubuki snap back to her senses and hurriedly chase after them.
