One Strike Bear.
That is a rather famous monster.
Its appearance is naturally that of a bear, but it is a large bear completely covered in black fur, with strong limbs and a robust physique. With just one swipe of its claw, if it hits, no matter how high the rank of the Adventurer, as long as they are not specialized in defense or have defensive items to assist, they will be decapitated instantly.
Because of this one-hit-kill power, this monster is called the One Strike Bear.
To subjugate such a monster, unless it is an outstanding Adventurer above Level 30, at least a standard Adventurer team is needed to take on such a creature.
Therefore, quests to subjugate such powerful monsters, in a town like Axel where novice Adventurers gather, might hang on the bulletin board for a year or more without anyone taking them.
No one would ever think that someone who had just become an Adventurer, currently only Level 1, without even a Class, and without learning a single Skill, would take on such a quest alone and come to the forest to subjugate it.
To others, this would probably be no different from seeking death, right?
However, for Fang Li, the real difficulty was not the subjugation, but finding the monster's location.
"Rustle... rustle..."
The sound of branches and leaves being stepped on echoed through the forest as Fang Li slowly walked through the eerily silent forest, heading towards an even more desolate area.
The surroundings of Axel are filled with weak monsters.
And weak monsters, when sensing the aura of a powerful monster, will often avoid that area.
Although the One Strike Bear is not powerful enough to make all the monsters in the forest flee in panic, the closer one gets to its location, the fewer monsters there are.
Thus, as soon as Fang Li entered the forest, he immediately followed the directions mentioned in the sighting report, heading straight towards the area with no monsters.
In this situation, along the way, Fang Li did not encounter a single monster.
Until an anomaly appeared ahead.
"Growl..."
With a low growl-like sound, a huge black creature was lying under a tree. As if sensing something, it woke from its slumber, raised its head, and looked ahead.
There, Fang Li's figure had just entered its line of sight, causing a ferocious glint to appear in its eyes.
Fang Li walked over and stopped not far in front of it, looking at it.
The corner of his mouth gradually curled up.
"Roar----!"
The roar of the ferocious beast began to resound, breaking the silence of the scene. The monster known as the One Strike Bear climbed up from the ground, spreading its strong arms like a gorilla, and let out a roar towards the sky.
Unfortunately, Fang Li had already realized that the One Strike Bear in front of him was probably only equivalent to a medium-sized Aragami, not even reaching the limit of the fifth rank.
So, the real difficulty was not the subjugation.
"Slash----- !"
When the chilly blade light swept by, the huge black bear was directly cut in half, dying on the spot.
At that very moment, something unexpected happened.
"Serial Number 11273 Adventurer Rank increased, gained 1 free Attribute Point."
"Serial Number 11273 Adventurer Rank increased, gained 1 free Attribute Point."
"Serial Number 11273 Adventurer Rank increased, gained 1 free Attribute Point."
"Serial Number 11273 Adventurer Rank increased, gained 1 free Attribute Point."
"Serial Number 11273 Adventurer Rank increased, gained 1 free Attribute Point."
"Serial Number 11273 Adventurer Rank increased, gained 1 free Attribute Point."
"Serial Number 11273 Adventurer Rank increased, gained 1 free Attribute Point."
"Serial Number 11273 Adventurer Rank increased, gained 1 free Attribute Point."
The system's notification sound suddenly rang continuously in Fang Li's mind, causing him to be momentarily stunned, and his eyes to suddenly light up.
Taking out his Adventurer card, Fang Li found that he had suddenly leveled up to Level 8, exactly matching the number of system notifications.
However, his ability parameters had not improved at all.
Not improving ability values is not a particularly rare occurrence.
Although increasing rank can improve ability parameters, this improvement is not without limits.
If one reaches their own limit, then even if they level up, their ability values will not change at all.
Therefore, it is not too strange for ability values to remain unchanged after leveling up.
Fang Li thought that, as a Main Divine Envoy, even if he became an Adventurer and increased his rank, he would not grow.
Main Divine Envoys can only grow by increasing their attributes. Without increasing attributes, they will neither get stronger nor weaker. What can be trained is technique, not attributes.
And the rank increase of an Adventurer grants growth in ability parameters, including magic power, intelligence, and luck, all of which can potentially improve.
Therefore, Fang Li thought that his rank increase should not grant physical growth.
Who would have thought that the rank increase of an Adventurer would instead turn into a reward of free attribute points?
"In that case, even without waiting to clear the game, I can reach the limit of the fourth rank."
After all, Fang Li was only 20 points away from the 300 Combined Attributes limit of the fourth rank.
In other words, as long as he increased his Adventurer rank to Level 20, Fang Li could reach the limit of the fourth rank.
"Hmm?"
Suddenly, Fang Li noticed that aside from the rank section on his Adventurer card changing, another section under the rank column had also changed.
"This is the Skill Points section?"
Skill Points, which are used to learn Skills, serve the same purpose as Skill Points in the Main God's Dimension.
People use Skill Points to learn Skills, thereby acquiring various abilities.
Depending on the effects and strengths of the Skills, the required Skill Points for each differ.
For example, it is said that learning Basic Magic requires 1 Skill Point, learning Intermediate Magic requires 10 Skill Points, and learning Advanced Magic requires 30 Skill Points.
With each level gained, Skill Points increase by one.
However, similar to ability parameters, some people start with high Skill Points while others start with low, depending on their talent. Some can have many Skill Points at Level 1, giving them a higher starting point than average.
Precisely because of this, the Royal Family needs to introduce the Hero's bloodline to enhance their potential.
Otherwise, if the conditions were the same, there would be no need for it.
Perhaps due to not even having a Class, Fang Li's talent, aside from killing, was extremely mediocre, so he had zero Skill Points at Level 1.
But now, with the rank increase, he already had 8 Skill Points.
"But can I learn Skills?"
This was Fang Li's only question.
