With a furious roar, the Giant Tentacruel smashed the ice layer with one of its tentacles before swinging it towards Terrance. But in the next moment, the power of ice appeared again, and the raging seawater, which had been freed after the ice was destroyed, was once again suppressed by Castform!
At the same time, facing Giant Tentacruel's attack, Terrance remained expressionless, staring it down. In the blink of an eye, a blade's gleam flashed, and Gallade's figure appeared in midair, already in the stance of sheathing its sword.
"Urrraaahhhh!!!!"
With a cry of pain, Giant Tentacruel's massive tentacle was driven back by the instant slash of Gallade's blade—

Even the Giant Tentacruel, with its eighty tentacles, found every one of them encased in ice, leaving it unable to muster the strength to strike again.
"Though its body has grown so massive and its strength so terrifying, in the end it is still just a wild Pokémon that has only recently mutated and evolved."
