Ten minutes before the battle....
Muramasa along with his group were making their way to the 18th floor. Muramasa had a grimace of pain the entire way. He felt like he was the only more or less normal servant.
Lancer and Alter Cu were competing with each other. Ozymandias was talking to Nitocris about building his pyramid in this world to which Nitocris just nodded in response.
Muramasa originally thought that Li Shuwen would be the one who had more in common with him since they were both old men but that wasn't the case. At first Muramasa and Li Shuwen talked about the differences in culture and life between their peoples, but the conversation turned to martial arts and then Li Shuwen went to kill monsters.
When they reached the 18th floor, Goliath fell from the ceiling, but before he could even scream, Li Shuwen appeared in front of him and killed him with one blow using his phantasm.
-"Hey old man, that's not how it works! That was my booty!" - said Cu alter.
- "Well, although I am also offended, but with the old man I better not mess with" - unlike his version of berserker Lancer Cu was smarter and did not get involved in a fight with the old man.
- "Hm youth. Who said battle was a protracted battle? Whoever strikes first wins. That's the way it's always been and always will be." Li Shuwen shook off his cloak of dust and then looked at the berserker.
Ozymandias, on the other hand, walked over to where Goliath had been killed.
- "Nitocris, look what fell from that beast! This hide will be perfect for my rug!" - Ozymandias picked up the hide and examined it closely.
- "As you say, Pharaoh. As soon as we return I will go to the tailor to have him make a rug for you," Nitocris said respectfully.
- "Hahahahaha! Nitocris, you always know what to do. That's why you're my best advisor!" - laughed Ozymandias.
- "No, no, not at all. I'm just doing my duty Pharaoh!" said Nitocris who was a little embarrassed.
Muramasa in turn just stood still and thought about what to do next. Should he wait for another group and rest or should he go on.
Just as suddenly, a portal opened in front of them.
All servants immediately went on alert, but out of the portal came a blue figure that was heading towards Muramasa.
Before colliding, Muramasa had time to create a sword to block the attack, but due to the speed and strength of the collision, the sword flew several dozen meters away and crashed into the wall.
Muramasa quickly recovered and looked at the enemy in front of him.
- "Damn I expected to meet you again, but this early. This is a big problem."- Muramasa showed a serious expression.
At the same time, several other figures emerged from the portal.
A centaur, a Man in Armor, and a knight in steel armor.
-Lancelot, you shouldn't have rushed into the enemy like that. "Though they may be weak, it's worth thinking about strategy. I don't think you need strategy at all," said the girl knight.
-"So this is the hand of the dragon of Albion. I'm afraid to imagine what would happen if it was Albion himself." said the Centaur.
-"Chiron, don't forget our mission from Zeus himself. We cannot fail." said the man in armor in a dispassionate voice.
Right behind them came many soldiers from Atlantis. Fortunately or not there were no other adventurers on this floor or they would have all been killed.
- "Listen up, Atlantis soldiers. Our goal is to destroy the enemy and capture the grail. If possible, we must capture the enemy's servants." - Odysseus gave an order to the soldiers and they all ran at the enemy.
But several of them were pierced by scarlet spears.
- "Well, finally some fun. I guess the old man won't bother me now." - Cu Alter abruptly burst into the crowd of soldiers and started the massacre
Ozymandias summoned the sphinxes and Nitocris the mummies, thus temporarily balancing the forces. But they knew that unless the main group arrived, they would be destroyed.
- "Son of the god of light. I hope you are as agile as they say you are." - Chiron began to aim at Berserker, but before he could fire, a scarlet spear appeared in front of him.
Thanks to his reflexes Chiron was able to dodge the spear but it left a small mark on his cheek and blood flowed out.
-"Whether I'm skillful or not you can find out by fighting me face to face" said Lancer Cu looking at Chiron.
-"I'm sorry, but since I'm an archer, I fight best from a distance. So Odysseus will you give me a hand?" - Chiron clearly didn't want to fight one-on-one against Lancer and he looked back at Odysseus.
- "Alright. Once we defeat Lancer we can take out the berserker and the others" - "Thinking rationally Odysseus quickly made a decision.
Lancer began his fight with Chiron and Odysseus.
Meanwhile, Lancelot stood in front of Muramasa.
- "I failed last time but this time I'll cut you to pieces" said Lancelot preparing to attack.
-"This time?! Aren't you also..." - Muramasa wanted to say something but Lancelot was already flying at him. Muramasa created his sword again and started fighting Lancelot. But every 3-4 strokes his swords broke, which was bad for the battle.
- "That time you and the mage were only able to hold me off because I didn't take the fight seriously.
Do you think you alone can defeat me?" - Lancelot launched a quick series of attacks forcing Muramasa to stand on the defensive.
Muramasa didn't respond, only concentrating more on blocking Lancelot's attacks. But he knew that if this continued he would most likely die. So he gave a small sign to someone and turned on the communicator.
Lancelot saw Muramasa's actions and thought he was mocking her. So she flew sharply at Muramasa wanting to kill him with one blow.
But before her spear touched Muramasa she was struck by something and flew sideways and hit the wall.
- "Thank you, Li. I'll inform Victor about attack and then go back to Lancelot. In the meantime, you keep Gawain in check." Muramasa wanted to call Victor on his communicator, but Victor was already calling him.
-"All right. I hope you can survive. After all, we still have a few more teas to talk about from your homeland"- Li Shuwen said and went back to fighting Gawain.
Ozymandias watched the battle but did not dare to intervene personally. He waited for the right moment. After all, if he intervened, everyone would immediately focus all their energies on him. His noble phantasm might well destroy one servant, but then he would not have the strength to create new sphinxes. And the Atlantis soldiers continue to arrive through the portal.
Cu Alter had already been pierced with weapons many times, but thanks to his skills all the weapons of the enemies did not hit vital organs, but the speed with which he killed the Atlantis soldiers had fallen a little.
Lancer was superior in close combat to Odysseus, but every time he tried to strike he was immediately hit by Chiron's arrow. Thanks to his skill "defense against arrows" Lancer did not care, but because of this he could not help Muramasa with Lancelot. And Chiron could safely play a support role from a distance.
But Lancer forgot that the British and Atlantic Lostbelt(Olympus) were enemies.Chiron like Odysseus wanted Chaldea to eliminate at least one servant of Britannia. So when Li Shuwen went to help Muramasa Chiron took no action. After all, they had just temporarily teamed up to eliminate Chaldea.
Meanwhile, Li Shuwen continued his battle with Gawain. But, it was a one-sided battle. Li Shuwen quickly dodged Gawain's attacks and counterattacked instantly. Each of his strikes could instantly destroy an average servant but not Gawain.
Gawain had a few dents in his armor and some blood in the corner of his mouth but no serious damage.
Since they're not in Britannia now, they don't have the blessing of the island. Lancelot can fight without it, but Gawain has a hard time. If they were in Britannia, these blows wouldn't even hurt Gawain. But right now it doesn't matter.
Gawain already wanted to use her Noble Phantasm but it takes time to activate it. How could Li Shuwen allow that to happen?
Meanwhile, Muramasa passed the information to Victor and continued to fight Lancelot.
Ten minutes later, Chaldea's situation got a little worse. Nitocris had already used up almost all of her powers to summon the mummy. Ozymandias was still holding on, but was already thinking about how best to use his Noble Phantasm.
Many swords and spears were sticking out of Cu Alter but he continued to fight.
Lancer was also still holding on, but several arrow wounds could be seen on his body.
Li Shuwen who wanted to use his Noble Phantasm on Gawain was knocked back into the wall by Lancelot who also sent Muramasa flying.
Just at that moment someone from the 19th floor was going up to the 18th floor. It was Loki's family who were returning from an expedition.
They were shocked to see the bodies of Atlantis soldiers in front of them.
-Captain, I see two groups fighting each other. One of them was with us at Mia's tavern. Are we going to help them?" - Tiona asked.
Finn wanted to refuse at first, because it was irrational to risk family members to save those he had only met once. But suddenly his thumb hurt. Every time his thumb hurt, it was a sign. Finn thought about it and decided to help them.
-Bete, Ais, you help that man in the crowd of soldiers. Me, Riveria and Gareth will help that red-haired guy with the swords and the old man. Tiona and Tione you help the one fighting the centaur and the man in armor. The rest of you stay out of it. This battle is not for you yet," Finn quickly gave out instructions and moved out to help.
Bert didn't want to go to help the guy who'd beaten him up a while ago, but seeing him in his wounds, he changed his mind and went with Ice.
