Blake's POV----
It's been a week since I have that fight with 'build' and it seems everything is looking cool after that. no more another rider has popped out neither another abnormal incidents. I have asked Woz about William's doings and it seems like he is creating his own gang now, one which is more fixed on finding 'filth' and removing them from society and also taking over the legal business of those said 'filth' to earn money for it's members. I mean what can I say this is really one way to do things.
Speaking of William I have been trying to use build's powers without transforming but it seems like I can only use 10% of it which is ability to fly and super speed. I asked Woz why can't I use the Pandora box powers to control reality? He told me that if I don't collect all my lost powers I can't unlock any ridewatch's full potential. Now that sucks! but it makes sense in a way I guess.
(a/n: for those who are thinking why the change in build's power, remember he gave that rabbit tank aspect to William in previous chapter. that's why hawk + Gatling combo)
currently I am on my way to home after school, I am taking the same route that I used that day, when I was killed. so much changed after that I never thought super powers are a thing and of all people I would get to wield them. But even though I have super powers I have zero intention of being a hero, don't get me wrong I will save anyone if I see them in pain and I can do something but I don't have any intention of purposely get in trouble. Woz may call me majesty but I am still confused what does it even mean? I am collecting all these ridewatch because I feel like it's somewhat my fault for starting this whole mess and also if I don't collect them my timeline would get deleted. I am still surprised multiverse exists.
As I am doing my inner monologue I suddenly hear police sirens. turning around I saw 10 police vehicles are chasing after 1 truck and from the looks of it the truck is used to transport prisoners. Probably someone is trying to escape from their sentence, as I was about to go on my way. I hear Woz voice {your majesty, I have located another ridewatch, this time another ex-aid.} I quickly answered him {alright Woz meet me at the alley where we first meet, I am close to it.} I already know Woz always know my location because of his book but I still mentions it sometimes.
{As you wish your majesty} I walked toward the alley where I was killed and I meet Woz for the first time. It still makes me think just why did that guy killed me that day? but I know currently I won't be getting any answers. Woz appears behind me and gave me a bow to show his loyalty to me, seriously this king stuff is weird but feels so cool sometimes.
"Woz, so where is that another ex-aid ridewatch? "
New York city-----
We can see that in the streets of the city has been blocked by police vehicles to stop the escape of the prisoner which is currently chased down by bunch of police cars. As the prisoner vehicle came in view of the forces near the barricade, one of the officer shoots at the tire and the truck came to a halt after crashing into the nearby structure.
Police quickly surrounds the vehicle and the other cars that were chasing them stops, from one of the police car came a middle aged man and women, by their dress they are defiantly higher in rank then other cops. The man takes out a speaker and starts commanding.
"Get you hand where we can see them and get out of the vehicle!! you are surrounded !! I repeat you are surrounded!! Get out of the vehicle!!" the back door of the truck opened and some prisoner came running out of it, fear apparent in their face but all of them fell down will agonizing screams.
"HELP!!! PLEASE GOD HELP ME!!!" all the police were shocked by this and were about to get closer when the door to the driver seat opened and a man in prisoner outfit came out everyone got alert.
"Hands up in the air! and surrender peacefully!! or we need to take forceful actions!" the senior officer announced but the prisoner seems stand their without a care. "you want me to surrender?" suddenly the guy starts to laugh "hehehaHAHAHA!!! I will kill you all!!! you bugs!!" the guy seems to lost his mind and started to scream and as he did something that no police there will ever forget happened. The man in front of them change into a monster with terrifying look and if someone looks closely they will see 'ex-aid' written on his shoulder.
"OPEN FIRE!!!" (multiple gunshots sounds) the monster just stand there without any effect from the bullets. (multiple clicking sound) the guns seemed to be out of bullets and at that point it clicked in their mind. with terrifying looks on everyone's face the senior officer spoke with utter dread in his voice.
"run."
"what?"
"RUN!!!" everyone started to run from the monster, everyone the cops, nearby civilians and the workers who were near the incident and as for the monster he started to rampaged through the streets by tossing the cars towards the cops as if those were paper boats, destroying nearby vehicles and using them as weapons but the most peculiar thing is the orange streams of particle that the monster is emitting when he is near any people and it seems to affect them as they are getting unconscious.
chaos is in the streets and many are getting injured and causalities are increasing the monster came before the duo of officer who earlier told him to surrender, who were about to help one of the cops who have fallen victim to the weird particle from the monster.
"well would you look now officer, would you still like me to surrender?" gathering his courage he faced the monster in front of him in hope to earn sometime for others to run and call for backup.
"bastard! just what the hell are you?"
"so you still have guts to call me bastard? huh? (exhales) you should just die!!" as the monster's hand glows in pink and he was about to launch an attack another pink light came from above three of them and drop kicked the monster to the nearby wall. Smoke covered the place where the monster was standing and all the surrounding people came to a halt to see what just happened, some even take out their phone for their social media accounts but the smoke cleared and the monster also stand back on his feet and everyone witnessed their savior. A mysterious man in a strange suit, the monster was about to say something but before he could he heard a sound.
*zikan girade* and a strange sword appeared in the mysterious man's hand and now, that monster is about to get a beatdown of his life.
Few minutes earlier---- Blake's POV----
Woz and I teleported to a rooftop of a building under me I can see the prisoner truck crashed and got surrounded by police vehicles. two officers demand the criminals to surrender but suddenly a few of them came from the truck with screams of pain and agony while falling to the ground unconscious. I have bad feeling about this, Woz told me that one of the prisoners have get a hold on another ex-aid ridewatch but I don't know what power that ridewatch grants but before I could think more about it the driver seat's door opened and the person transformed into another ex-aid.

That guy starts to go on a rampage, destroying everything in his path as if he is invincible or something. people started to run away most of them are getting hurt not by rampage but by some strange orange particle coming from his body, I guess this is a power comes with ex-aid ridewatch.
this is a mess and most importantly I am getting angry, really angry, Build or should I say William was different he used violence for a reason, he care about people but his way of justice is brutal but this guy is just a psychopath, I mean if you don't want to be hero despite having power then at least don't became the problem and mind your own business without harming others. I hate those who try to create trouble for others without any purpose and just find enjoyment in others agony. It's settled I will make this guy cry for mercy for all this rampage. I looked at the monster and he is about to attack that previous duo of officers who stand against him.
I activated my Zio ridewatch and the moment I activated it the 'ziku driver' materialize as a belt, Woz seems to get an idea what I am about to do. he tried to warn me. "Your majesty! please wait!!" but my mind just filtered that line and I jumped from that building rooftop while attaching the 'Zio ridewatch' in the driver.
*Zio~*
I turned the driver while in the air falling towards the 'another ex-aid' while my mind start to picture how I will dropkick this guy. "henshin!!"
*Rider time! Kamen Rider~! Zio~!*
Present time------ Blake's POV----
I rushed towards another ex-aid and started my barrage of attacks with 'zikan girade' I have to say this sword is really awesome although it looks like it came from a comic book. The guy in front of me is screaming in pain as I am hitting him again and again.
"Bastard!!! who are you?!!"
"the guy who will send you to Jesus."
this another ex-aid looks pretty weak? he can't even keep up with my speed. I am a little confused Woz told me ex-aid powers are more powerful then build's power. If that's the case what's happening to him?
"AHHHH!!!" I kicked him again and the guy get knocked a few feet from me. Ok it's time to finish this, I pressed the button on my ridewatch and driver after putting away my 'zikan girade'.
*finish time!* "time to send your sorry ass to where it belong!!"
"no!! Stop!!" I jumped in the air to deliver a rider kick as my whole body glowed in bright pink.
*Time Break!!* everything seems fine up to this point but as my kick was about to hit him, he suddenly vanished from that place. The kick lands on where he was standing and the place got a huge crater with surrounding area receiving heavy damage from the shockwave of the rider kick.
Damn! rider kicks are scary!!
(a/n: I am not exaggerating even weaker rider kicks can do city level damage if not controlled by user)
"Where did he go??" well I didn't need to wonder much as he reappeared in front of me again with what looks like glitches around his body?? what the hell? ok now I am confused , what is that ridewatch make him?
"(grasping for air)(heavy breathing) you... I will... make... you pay." he vanished again but this time I noticed those same glitches which I saw when he appeared. what is happening here? but soon I hear a noise behind me. "Hands in the air NOW!!!!" I turned around to see a bunch of police officers pointing gun at me, even the guy I saved and all the civilians recording all this. Wow considered me shocked again.
"umm... guys sorry for the construction damage but... haven't you saw who did the damage 2 minutes ago?? like umm... don't want to rude but... you will just be wasting your bullets." the lady officer beside the other one from earlier spoke "look, just 2 minutes ago I saw 2 guys fight like some superhero movie, do you think any of us are thinking straight at this point!!".
"well... can't argue with that logic. Anyway WOZ!!!" as I said that a black vortex covered me and I teleported from that place, I have a lot of question I need to ask Woz.
Empty alley---
A black vortex appeared in the alleyway and Blake and Woz appeared, Blake transformed back to normal and starts to asks Woz about the doubts he is having. "thank Woz, I knew you would understand my signal."
"of course your majesty, as your most loyal retainer it is my duty to understand your command properly." Blake smiles at this answer. "anyway Woz, I want to know, does ex-aid ridewatch give teleportation power? and what were those glitches I noticed coming from another ex-aid."
"To answer that question I need to explain a little about Kamen rider ex-aid your majesty." Woz opened his book and starts to explain Blake "Emu Houjo or Kamen rider ex-aid was an intern doctor before becoming Kamen rider but after he got the game driver he dedicated his life to protect everyone from the game diseases."
"game diseases??"
"yes, it came from an lifeform known as bugsters, these are virus like lifeform that can change between biological and digital information at will, further more as a virus bugsters can infect others around them and the more stressed their victims become the more powerful the bugsters will get, these can be increased by multiple victims. Now for his majesty's question, ex-aid ridewatch give it's user bugsters power but that's only at the moment, ex-aid true power is the power of 'hyper muteki' I can only hope that things won't escalate to that. His majesty need to defeat him before that."
"But Woz how can I defeat someone who can just teleport through radio waves at will. He will dodge my attack, simply put modern era where there are radio waves everywhere is the worst place to fight ex-aid."
"unfortunately I don't have any clue about this, your majesty need to find a solution himself on these problem." Blake started to get worried about this how can he defeat someone like that, power is not a problem here as he have seen earlier, but the problem is to trap another ex-aid in one place and he truly want to finish this, he don't have any intension to find out what this 'hyper muteki' is anytime soon if even Woz is scarred of it.
"(exhales) ok first let's go home Woz, I can't be late otherwise mom will start to get worried."
"As you wish your majesty." The black vortex appeared again and both Woz and Blake disappeared from their place. But he didn't know that his display of power as Zio has already set some problem that he need to face in the future.
Blake's house---- Blake's POV---
After saying my goodbye to Woz I entered my home "Mom I am home!" but instead of mom, Gwen came and said in excitement. "big brother!! have you checked your Facebook? you won't believe what happened today!" I have an idea what she is talking about but I acted like I don't know? she dragged me to the living room and my thoughts are correct as I saw mom and Gwen looking at news where my previous deeds are in replay.
T.V. : *finish time!* *time break!* *boom* (video ends) the screen turns to news anchor "As we can see this footage is not some scene from upcoming movie folks, it is the footage from today's incident that takes place when our police force were attacked by a monster when they were at the pursuit of some escaping prisoners, although the monster caused heavy damages to the nearby civilians and some police officers but as it was about to attack one of the senior officer a mysterious armored man came from above and saved the day and vanishes just as quickly he arrived. let's ask some of the civilians who were on the scene. (screen changed to footage of people's opinion asked by reporter).
reporter: "So mam what are your thoughts about these mysterious hero??"
civilian 1: "he saved us from that monster, what else can I say other than that he is a hero."
civilian 2: "he could be dangerous have you seen that kick of his?? I will be honest I am afraid of what will happen if he attack us can government will be able to protect us?"
civilian 3: "WE HAVE OUR OWN SUPERHERO!! YAHOO!!!"
(screen changed back to the news anchor) as we can see some people support this hero other fear him but everyone wants to know one thing, just who is this mysterious person.
Blake's POV----
Well I expected this much and honestly I don't care what others think, I am not an hero I am collecting ridewatch because I have to. I need to clear my head and think of a way to defeat that bastard quickly. I turned to Gwen and said "wow. I guess we have a superhero now, good for us." she yelled at me "That's it??!! there is a actual superhero with superpowers and that's what you have to say??" I said in a neutral tone "we have captain America in the time of world war." (a/n: ok I am a little confused about this, do people know about U.S super soldiers in mcu??)
"captain America don't have the power to blow up an entire street and use cool finishing moves!!"
"can't argue with that logic, anyway I am going to get fresh, mom I have some plans with jimmy so I will be going after that. ok" mom told with a smile "alright hon, but be sure to come back before dinner." I went to my room after that and the news channel is still playing my fight as Zio, I could hear my screaming Woz in the video but I didn't care but my sister Gwen said in a low voice "where have I heard that before?" I hope she doesn't remember.
few minutes later----
We can see Blake's sitting in front of his computer and searching for something, he have changed his clothes into more comfortable one's after taking a bath. Now he is giving his full focus on how to defeat 'another ex-aid' specially how to trap that bastard, so he could rider kick him to hospital. After searching for a few minute he finally found something that could work in theory if he is correct in his analysis of the monster's teleportation ability. He went downstairs to the living room to tell his mom that he will be leaving but he saw something that boiled his blood with anger.
T.V. news: "hospitals in the entire city is filling with various victims of the monster attack which was previously defeated by the mysterious hero but it seems the monster was only hiding to attack in more force. Just few minutes ago the monster was seen on various places one after another and seemed to attack with a strange particle which upon contact cause various pain throughout the body of victim, doctors are trying to figure out the cause of these problem but it seems as of now nothing can be done except for praying. citizens are advised to stay in their home as we don't know when the monster will attack and where will it strike. Also if your are listening mysterious hero than where are you at the time of need."
Blake's POV----
As I listened to the news anchors words I got more angry toward that bastard, I can't understand why is he doing this? harming people who don't even know why they are being harmed. but slowly I started to understand the threat that can be done if a rider powers are used in wrong way, power of bugsters are scary if used to cause a pandemic. I need to stop this and quickly. I am 60% sure my plan will work and I need to hurry. Without asking anything I dashed towards the door and was on my way to leave the house when I heard mom's voice. "Blake!! where are you going ?? didn't you hear the news!!!" "Sorry mom!! but this is urgent!" and like that I stormed of the house to meet Woz in a scheduled place.
No one's POV----
Blake is running towards a alleyway where he could call Woz but before that he hears a voice from behind. "Your majesty, you don't need to worry about anyone seeing me with you, I have checked this place no one can see us here." Blake turned around and clamed down. "good timing Woz but I have to ask does bugsters powers let them travel only through radio waves??" Woz checked his book and smiled a little "don't worry your majesty but I am sure that they can only travel as digital information."
"then Woz I want you to take me somewhere."
"Your wish is my command your majesty. Shall we go."
"wait! let me transform first."
New York police station headquarters---
Today the station is exceptionally busy since the morning. first a bunch of prisoner tried to escape at the time of transport, then one of them turned into a monster and wreaked havoc but fortunately stopped by Zio but next came a even more headache for all the department. The same monster started to appear in different places of the city and infecting people with bugsters virus, even the doctor don't know what to do. Many officers are hospitalized trying to stop the monster and getting infected themselves.
Currently in a conference table we can see many officers discussing different ways on what should be done of the situation. Among them the previous officer who tried to stop the monster and nearly survived because of Zio can also be seen. Beside him is seated another female officer of same status who previously tried to protect one of her juniors. All the officers are looking toward a old officer who seems to be the most senior officer among all of them but even his expression doesn't look good. suddenly one of the officer spoke. "chief, our numbers are dropping rapidly and we are like sitting ducks in front of that bastard! what should we do." the officer in question replied "the reports have been made to the upper management already and I have told them that our gun ain't doing sh*t, but don't worry from what I was told army will be deployed by the evening" one officer spoke "but chief, casualties will be very high by the evening." the head officer said in a low voice "well Desmond, we can only try to evacuate the citizens beyond that army will need to handle. We can pray nothing bad will happen."
Suddenly a voice erupted in the room with a black vortex from which two man came out. one is Woz and another is Zio. "you don't need to wait for the army and I don't have any wish to see people suffering anymore."
Blake's POV----
As I arrived in the meeting room of the police headquarter and said those words, I heard clicking of multiple gun sound around me. I mean I appreciate them for their vigilance but even after knowing that guns won't work on me why are they still pointing? Anyway I should say something rather than monologuing "guys no need to get agitated I just came to talk here, no violence" I heard police chief saying " well who do we have here? the famous new hero of our city in the time of need. thanks for coming at last."
"No need for sarcasm chief but you can tell others to put their guns down it's only gonna waste their bullet." he laughed a little and continue the conversation " Everyone! put your gun down!"
"but chief-" Everyone put their guns down but still remain vigilant.
"it's alright! and he is right we can't harm him anyway. (turns towards Zio) So, who are you two really and why are you here. I am hoping you are not here to ask a thank you for saving my two officer from death." At these everyone got curious it seems even they would like to know what the hell is happening today and who are these people who have super powers.
As I was about to explain Woz suddenly came in front of me and starts to laugh "HAHA well I am glad you asked, allow me to explain" he open his book and I get the picture that what he is going to say 'Nooooo! Woz! not that line in front of these people I will be embarrassed to death!!'
"IWAE!! the one to inherit the power of all the Kamen rider, the heir to the throne of time, who will rule over past, present and future, his name Kamen rider Zio and I am his most loyal retainer WOZ!!" utter silence throughout the room, everyone have their mouth hanging and I am frozen as a statue while Woz is doing a proud pose as if he just won a 'noble prize'.
after sometime the police chief spoke "(throat clearing sound) ok... umm your majesty... I guess??" I quickly said "NO! umm... just Zio, call me Zio. one guy is enough at this point."
"ok so... Zio why are you here and I am pretty sure none of us can forget who are you from now on after your retainer's speech." everyone except me and Woz nodded at us, some are still trying to process the epicness and comedy of that moment "ok, let's just say, that monster have something that belongs to me but it's a bastard who is hard to catch." one of the officer said "hard to catch? I saw you beat his ass this morning." I replied "hard to catch means that guy can dodge my attacks at the last moment because of that teleportation power of his but in terms of strength I am stronger."
"oh... I see but what can we do about that? if he can teleport I don't think we have some counter to it." I smiled and starts to explain my plan "Ever heard of EMP??" they looked shocked but I continued "look the way he teleport is he travel through the radio waves but with an EMP we can make that ability useless for sometime but in that small time I can remove his power." everyone looked with different emotions some were confused if these plan will work, some were happy that they can beat the monster but then the chief spoke "Zio, are you sure this will work??" I know why he asked this question this looked risky and totally depend if we can trap that guy or not but "honestly, I am about 60% sure these will work when I first made this plan but after Woz confirmed this I am 100% sure. please trust me chief, I am no hero but I can't let a bastard use a portion of my power to harm others." chief looked around everyone's face and smiled toward me "alright king of time, I will trust you."
chief's POV---- time square----
In my entire carrier I have seen many things that others might not believe, peoples using things only sci-fi movies will have, heck I know for a fact that government must have their own alien hunting unit or something that deals with these out of ordinary phenomenon. That's why I can keep my cool despite all the chaos happening, this Zio guys from his retainer's introduction I can understand he might not be from earth, it sound weird but trust me I have seen aliens and I know they exists out their, I decided to trust Zio and hope he will leave earth after he have what he is searching for, our planet is not ready for aliens yet, at least from what I have seen in my younger days I can say that, I turned to right and saw one of my trusted officer announcing in the speaker trying to attract the monster here by challenging him, I hope he take the bait and Zio's plan works.
It didn't take long the beast suddenly materialize in front of us, I guess all the power made him unable to think properly. He started to walk toward us and said in a excited tone "Well well well it seem you all are getting a little too courageous even after I send most of you hospital. no worries I will gladly do it again."
"Not this time you monster!" one officer spoke and with it a black vortex appeared behind the monster and Zio and Woz walks out of it. the monster turned to face them and become serious. seems like he haven't forgotten the beating yet.
"YOU!!! bring it on!! I will crush you!"
Zio's POV----
Another rider is front of me and after staring at me for a second and yelling. I give them signal to activate the EMP. "Officer!! NOW!!". A shock traveled through the entire district either disabling or destroying all the electronic in the area. He looked at me in confusion for a second before getting angry, I guess he understood what happened here.
"What did you do to my power!!!"
"Make sure you can't run away, remember what I told you when we fought the first time."
"You bastard bring it ON!!!"
I charged at him with 'zikan girade' in my hand and start my barrage of attacks but something happened that I clearly haven't expected. When my attack was about to hit him, he raised him hand and blocked my attack with one hand and punched me in the chest, the punch was powerful more than something I have encountered, I tried to attack back but he managed to dodge them all and counter attacked me, slowly I went from attacking him to defending myself from his barrage of attacks, What is happening? this is like fighting a completely different person from the previous guy. Although the attacks won't damage me because of the timeless body but I still feel pain and fatigue and the biggest of all the EMP's effect will be over in 5 minutes.
"HAHA!!! what's the matter you seems to troubled there??" These bastard! I need to think at these rate forget about the plan he will defeat me instead. Think Blake think why the sudden boost in his power. as I was thinking I suddenly remembered what Woz told me about bugsters, they get more powerful the more victim they have and if their target is stressed. But what now? I know why this guy is boosted up but what can I do now ? I need a boost of my own. As if he read my mind I heard Woz voice.
"Your majesty! use the Build ridewatch!" 'use the build ridewatch?' the hell is Woz talking about? then it clicked in my mind as I looked at the driver it have two slots for watches. I quickly backed down and take the build ridewatch out. pressed it's top switch.
(mechanical sound) *Build!*
another ex-aid said in a mocking tone "What that supposed to do?? Hahaha"
"well I hope I am right" I inserted the ridewatch in the ziku driver and turned it and I guess I was right.
*Armor time!* A set of armor appeared in front of me and the movement I touched it, the armor scrambled and started to attack the guy but then come towards me and attached to my body
(mechanical sound)*Best Match~! Build~!*
Everyone is shocked by my new looks, all the police officers and the another ex-aid too but before he rushed toward me to attack. we heard Woz voice.
"IWAE! the one to inherit the powers of all Kamen riders, the king of time ruling over past, present and future, his name Kamen rider Zio: build armor and in this moment he have inherited his first Kamen rider power." I am getting used to this now "alright let's get this over with." My current look consist of orange colour in one side and metal colour in another side. (a/n: this is because he previously he gave Rabbit tank to William, so Blake hot hawk Gatling combo as primary build) I started to charge toward him and wings sprout from my back and my speed is so fast that I got a of balance my self for the first time but I adapted to it quickly and it's super fun I mean I can fly and superfast. Suddenly my left shoulder glowed in silver and a cool looking gun materialize in my hand. "Cool!!" I went above him and hit him with barrage of rapid fire bullets. Ok enough of this it's time to finish this before time runs out.
I pressed the button on my driver. *Finish time! Build!* A graph diagram enclosed another ex-aid and I aimed my gun at him from above as it was glowing and then I pressed the trigger. barrage of bullets hit him from above and big explosions started with each bullet hitting him. When it ended the whole street was decimated and that guy was lying unconscious in the crater transformed back to human. Again like last time particles gather in front of me and materialize into a ridewatch. when I took it a sound was heard.
*ex-aid!*
I saw chief coming towards me with two other officers. "Thank you Zio. we are grateful"
"don't mention it, I am just fixing my mistakes and don't worry as Woz told me everyone infected will be cured immediately."
"well I guess this is goodbye Zio, king of time. Hahaha" the other also laughed at that and me and Woz teleported from their, I need to prepare something if I plan to enter the house after the stunt I pulled when I leave today, specially since it sunset already.
Unknown location----
We can see various people all working on their computer and there is a bald man with an eyepatch standing in front of a screen with a women beside him, both of them are watching the battle that took place few minutes ago where Blake defeated the another ex-aid. After watching the man said in a low voice.
"what do you think Maria?"
"honestly sir, if I haven't seen the video's I would say he is a guy from Comicon"
"A guy from Comicon don't have power to blow up entire buildings."
"What are your orders sir?" Man thought for a few seconds "try to find out more about him and if you found his location monitor him but don't engage, we need to take proper safety procedure before anything."
"Got it sir."
Rooftop of a large building----
It is night time already and we see a man wearing a hoodie is looking at some video, upon closer look we can see this is the same man that shot Blake at that day of new year and started all this mess. He closed his futuristic phone and began to think.
"this is really a unexpected development.
