The three return to their camp. Raydn's eyes go wide and he gives off a sigh as he looks around at the mess from last night, he's not necessarily surprised, but he is a bit frustrated by how messy it all seems to be. He lets out a small sigh at that, "We have quite a lot to clean up today. I really should have cleaned up a little last night." he remarks with a slightly annoyed tone, looking over at Nate and Marceline as he says that. He tries to move past that annoyed feeling really and give the two of them a cheerful look and a smile.
Raydn lets out a deep breath as they move to pack up the camp and after packing up he gives a bit of a sigh as he looks out at the forest around them. He gives both Nathan and Marceline a friendly look, letting them know that he is ready to move forward when the other two are, and he seems genuinely curious to hear what they want to do next.
While walking Marcline stops dead in her tracks "I hear running water near."
Raydn's eyes turn to where the sound is coming from as he moves to stand beside Marceline and he listens carefully, his eyes going wide as he realizes that she is right in hearing water. "You're right, there is running water nearby," he says with a friendly and interested smile, "It's just around that corner." he adds and he points in the direction of the running water, "Should we go check it out?" he asks the other two of them with a friendly look and he seems to be curious to see what all sorts of things they might find there.
The three of them walk over to the sound and Raydn gazes upon the river with a smile on his face and he can't help but let his eyes linger on the rushing water, he has always liked the look and sound of rivers in the past and he can't help but let out a soft sigh as he takes in the sight and sound of it all. "This is beautiful," he whispers, "This is a wonderful first discovery that we have found so far." he adds in a hushed voice, wanting to be quiet and respectful as they approach the river and see the natural beauty that it holds.
"We should set camp her for the rest of the 29 days." Nathan Said
Raydn thinks about that for a moment, and he nods his head. "That's a great idea, let's set our camp up here," he suggests with a friendly smile and he looks back at the river as he says that, "I'm sure there's plenty of fish near a river like this." he adds in a friendly tone and he gives the other two and friendly smile, "It's got food, water, and it's beautiful. So, let's do it." he says as he gives a nod of approval, his voice sounding enthusiastic and optimistic about the idea.
The next three weeks that they spent together go by quite smoothly for the most part. They set up their camp near the river like they had planned, and they find that in addition to finding the river there is also plenty of fish there just as Raydn had thought there would be which makes getting food pretty easy for the most part. That isn't to say all has been completely smooth sailing so far, but they have managed to avoid most major, monsters would appear now and then but they weren't something they couldn't defeat. However, of them being together, things start to go downhill during the last few days quite suddenly. On the last day they hear the sounds of screams in the woods.
"Thanks for saving me but I must go back to my group now."
"Please, let me accompany you back." Nathan volunteers himself
"I really appreciate you two helping me out." they add with a slight smile as they turn to wave goodbye to Raydn before they start to walk off with Nate, and Raydn returns the wave and watches them go for a moment before turning away and making his way back towards the camp. He's relieved that the person is okay at least.
Raydn returns to their camp and Marceline rushes towards the site of him and told Raydn that all of their supplies were stolen by two of their classmates while they were both gone.
Raydn's expression darkens when she mentions that and he lets out a sigh, "Great, really just great," he says with a bit of a sigh after she tells him about the stolen stuff. "Just great," he adds again with another sigh, "Alright I guess we should go after them." he says. "There's no way we are just going to let others take our stuff and think that they will get away with it," Raydn says with a slight frown at that, "That's not going to happen, and that means we have to chase them and get our stuff back before they get back to their hideout where they'll just be expecting us." he adds with a sigh, "So, we need to get packed up and ready now, because this could be a long chase. We should be prepared for whatever we face once we catch up to our classmates."
Raydn realized,and he has the feeling that the person they saved aren't just a helpless victim like they had been acting, but instead they might have been in on the robbery all along. Raydn's eyes go wide as he realizes this and he can't help but let out a sigh of frustration, "Crap! I think we've been tricked. That guy was probably part of the robbery... How didn't I catch onto that until now!" he asks no one in particular with a sigh, his tone definitely sounding frustrated.
Raydn is worried about Nate now, worried that his other classmates might be planning something, he has a bad feeling that they haven't seen the last of those people so he speaks up in an urgent tone, "Marceline, we've got to hurry up and find Nathan! He might be in danger too once he goes to where they are hiding so we can't waste any time. How far away do you think think they might be hiding at?" he asks Marceline with a worried look.
"I suggest that we use magic to find him!" Marceline replies to Raydn's question
"That's a good suggestion," Raydn says to Marceline with a gentle smile, "Do you know how to track his magic somehow? Is there some spell that can be used for that?" he asks, his ears perked up at the idea and he looks over at Marceline with curiosity, hoping that she will know how to track his magic now that she mentions it.
Marceline immediately starts chanting "Basic: Tracking Magic"
"I can feel his presence, it's faint but I know his general direction!"
Marceline points to Nathan's direction
"He's this way!"
Raydn and Marceline start walking towards the direction but Raydn seems to be getting impatient in wanting to find Nathan now as he carried Marceline and he picks up his pace at the same time "Wh-what?!" Marceline gets surprised, carrying her in his arms and starting to move as fast as he can through the forest while he runs. "Just trust me on this one, we've got to move faster before the criminals try something on him!" he explains in an urgent tone, his voice sounding nervous and worried about it as he carries her like that. His breathing is already a bit hard as he runs through the forest carrying her like that, but he doesn't slow down at all.
The sun started to set as Raydn ran in the woods while carrying Marceline on his arms .
