"He even blocked it?"
As Krillin and Son Gohan stared in shock at Zeltron's display of strength, Goku was likewise shaken.
He felt the burning power of his own [Kamehameha], amplified through Four Times Kaio-ken, being held back easily by Zeltron.
Despite putting everything into the attack, it just wasn't enough.
'Who is this guy?
Why is he so terrifyingly strong?
Even Vegeta seems to know nothing about him…'
While Goku tried to figure out Zeltron's origins, Zeltron—from within the torrent of the Kamehameha—started to retaliate. The energy around his body surged violently.
With a roar, Zeltron unleashed a powerful Ki Blast straight from his palms. The new blast collided head-on with Goku's still unleased Kamehameha wave and for a moment, the two beams were locked in a standstill.
But as Zeltron poured more energy into his attack, the balance shifted.
Goku's Kamehameha was overwhelmed as if it were just paper; Zeltron's Ki Blast easily smothered it.
"Nani?!"
Goku's eyes widened as he felt his strongest attack pushed back. He tried with all his might to resist, but Zeltron's power was just too much. Finally, forced to yield, Goku watched as Zeltron's Ki Blast, carrying both attacks, streaked into the heavens like a blazing pillar.
HUM—
The gigantic energy beam shot off into the universe. A breathless silence settled over Namek, but tremors rumbled beneath the surface. Moments later, in the distant sky, both blasts detonated—a BOOM that reverberated all the way to Namek.
Everyone on the battlefield heard the explosion, feeling its shockwave echoing over the planet.
[Meanwhile, far across the sea of Namek...]
A glowing white orb sped through the air, its passing triggering massive tidal waves behind it. When the explosion from afar died out, the orb halted.
Looking closer revealed a figure sitting on a hovering throne—a creature with a long tail and two horns: Frieza.
His form stayed unchanged—he was still in his first transformation.
"What was that explosion just now?"
Frieza looked upward, searching the cloudless sky without finding any clues. After a pause, he smirked:
"Perhaps the Ginyu Force has prepared some new entertainment for me!"
He laughed, reveling in his good mood.
"With the seven Dragon Balls finally in my possession, all I need now is the secret to summoning the Dragon. Once that's done, I will become immortal!"
Suddenly, a burst of energy surrounded Frieza as he shot away in the direction of the Great Elder's village.
Dididi—
"A combat response?"
His scouter beeped, reading a strong power level up ahead. Soon, Frieza hovered over a mountain peak—where he spotted a lone Namekian.
The guardian standing there was Nail .
"A Namekian, eh?"
Frieza's lips curled with excitement as he checked the scouter's readings:
"42,000 power level... I didn't expect a Namekian this strong!"
During his earlier massacre, the strongest villagers barely registered a few thousand. Nail's power was in a different league.
"Namekian, I'm in an excellent mood. If you tell me how to use the Dragon Balls, perhaps I'll spare your life."
Frieza remained in his hovering throne, grinning as he gazed at Nail.
"Dream on! The seven Dragon Balls will never be used by a monster like you!"
Nail's face was determined and his voice stern.
Frieza's smile faded.
"Not willing? Then I'll just have to use force. I am, after all, remarkably merciful."
(If Zeltron were here, he'd be rolling his eyes—Frieza's version of 'mercy' always involved violence.)
WHOOSH—
Frieza pointed a finger and fired a thin purple death beam at Nail. The attack was blindingly fast, moving at the speed of light. But Nail was ready; he dodged at the last moment, and the beam struck a distant mountain—destroying it with a thunderous explosion.
Nail's face darkened at the sight of the obliterated peak.
Frieza grinned.
"Oh ho ho... such a cute look. I adore that expression!"
He leaned forward, voice cold:
"Now, Tell me how to use the Dragon Balls. I'm out of patience!"
