While Quinn shove the humanoid creature towards the gap that was closing a painful feeling pierced his waist and he bit back his pain. He wasn't about to let go now, if he did that they would be no more. With one powerful push Quinn pushed a part of the creature's body out the gap and lucky for Quinn the barrier finished repairing itself and snapped a part of the creatures body off. It's head and a piece of it's shoulder was sliced off.
Quinn landed heavily to the floor, the weight of the decapitated creature on top of him. Quinn managed to slid from under the creature and then clenching his teeth he pulled the weird tentacle from out his waist. The wound was deep and he was bleeding all over. Quinn could feel his conscious drifting again. But he couldn't pass out at this moment yet. It might seem like a victory, but he hadn't won yet.
