A simple sentence "You're a foreigner" directly made the woman's face dark as the bottom of a pot. The anxious staff beside her finally couldn't hold back and whispered a few words in Jian Dan's ear.
"What?" After hearing the staff's words, Jian Dan once again turned her gaze to the woman from before.
After a moment of her own scrutiny...
"You know, she really does look a bit like her!"
As soon as Jian Dan spoke, the staff nudged her with an elbow and shook their head at her, quietly reminding her by her ear, "Stop talking, didn't you see her face turn dark?"
Only then did Jian Dan notice that the woman's expression was somewhat unpleasant.
"Hehe, sorry about that! I don't usually watch American TV shows, so I didn't recognize you just now, my apologies!" Jian Dan tried to make her expression look as natural as possible.
