Ouyang moved fast, and by the time Jian Dan chased after him, his figure was already nowhere to be seen.
"I will catch you myself!" Jian Dan swore silently into the pitch-black alley.
"Jian, what's up? Are you okay?" Mu Yi, noticing Jian Dan's sudden disappearance earlier, came out to search and found him sitting crouched on the top of a wall near the alley.
Just as Jian Dan heard Mu Yi's voice, he turned around abruptly, but his footing slipped, and he fell straight off the wall. Mu Yi darted forward and caught Jian Dan firmly in his arms.
"Thank goodness you were here, or I probably would've ended up face down like a clumsy idiot." Jian Dan grinned sheepishly at Mu Yi.
Mu Yi gently put Jian Dan back on the ground. "If I hadn't called out to you earlier, you might not have fallen at all.
But why did you climb up the wall in the first place?"
