Nox stared at Krazhul without speaking.
The demon lord waited for a response, his arms still folded as if he had already predicted the outcome. His posture remained calm and confident. The runes on his armor glowed faintly as the guards around the chamber slowly tightened their grip on their weapons.
However, instead of replying, Nox moved.
He dashed forward. The floor cracked under his feet as he launched across the chamber with terrifying speed, a frozen sword forming in his hand in the same motion. The blade appeared in a burst of pale frost and immediately cut through the air toward Krazhul's neck.
Krazhul's eyes widened slightly.
The demon lord clearly had not expected the human to attack so suddenly.
The frozen blade clashed against his armored gauntlet with a loud impact that echoed across the chamber. Frost exploded into the air as the shockwave pushed several nearby guards backward.
Krazhul slid half a step across the stone floor before stabilizing himself.
